Century Park Hotel

I tried to get management to cancel the rest of my 4 day reservation, I had here but they refused, their response was “we can give you credit back for a future stay, so I was stuck here for four days sick as a dog. Breathing the toxic smelly musty moldy air from their old dilapidated hvac system. I looked at reviews on ********** and I’m not the only person that got sick breathing this stinky air, this must be how Legionnaires’ disease killed so many people in other countries. Like most travelers, we all rely on honest accurate reviews of the hotels we have stayed at, which I can only assume now that I’ve stayed here, at least 90% of the reviews posted for this hotel are not accurate and could possibly be misleading. I have no proof of that personally but things just did not add up for me. If you choose to stay here, the 1000 pesos per person you will pay for breakfast is inedible and disgusting, I asked for a coffee cup to go and the waitress looked at me like I offended her. WOW! The scrambled eggs looked like some type of soup and were cold, this is at 6:00 am in the morning, however it is a great hotel if you need to lose a few kl unless you want to walk down to Kenny Roger’s in the heat and traffic. The first room I stayed in had ants and hair in the bath tub and on top of the vanity and a roach on the floor. I took photos of them. The cheap mattress you will sleep on will kill your back in the morning. 2 tiny water bottles to share in the room as a welcome jesture. LOL The so called gym is old and dilapidated much like the hotel. I tried to get a quick 20 minute workout in and my nose is running so badly I had to leave. Nasty and disgusting. I’m guessing it has never been cleaned. The one caveat I must add is most of the service help from the elevator attendants to most waiters, waitresses and all the staff they have guarding both entrances, to the front desk operator were kind, courteous, professional and somewhat cordial and this is no reflection on them whatsoever. It’s 7:00 am Sunday morning and I honestly can’t wait to get out of here. Still sick with a sinus infection. You’ve been warned.

Front desk staff is rude. While checking in, she dials the restaurant in the middle of your checking in process. She doesn't want to be interrupted, and she expects you to wait for her to finish her call. She gives an insincere apology as if she did nothing wrong.
