There are two large vegetable markets nearby, which are very convenient for buying fruits, vegetables, Myanmar and Vietnamese specialties. It is also very close to walk to the Shubao Pagoda. Menghuan Old Lady and Ganying Chicken Feet are not far away, and you can walk there. You can see the Golden Pagoda and the Silver Pagoda from the rooms on the shady side. The whole view of the main urban area is unobstructed from the sunny side. The hotel breakfast is also good. I brought my parents here and they all ate too much because the breakfast rice noodles are very good. There are also Bodhi Temple and Guanyin Temple nearby to take a look, both of which are Southern Buddhism.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. When I mentioned the construction noises, they went out of their way to upgrade me to ensure my stay was satisfactory. One of the staff took the initiative to provide me with a list of what to do/eat in Mangshi. The location of the hotel is great, just next to the museum. I had to miss it because it’s closed on Mondays.

The hotel's service is particularly intimate, not only with free pick-up and drop-off, but also mineral water on the door. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom water flow was very smooth, the window of the airport store was double-layered, and earplugs were also sent. Sleeping at night was particularly quiet, the bed was very comfortable, and the facilities were great! The front desk sister of the hotel was very enthusiastic and told us how to rent an electric car and take the initiative to say hello wherever you go. I haven't had such a comfortable hotel experience for a long time, come back next time!

Overall decent stay. This is a famous low-cost hotel chain, so shouldn't expect too much form it. Not very clean, hairdryer not great, bed quite hard. The good parts: Location is not bad, walking distance to a famous beef ball restaurant, some street-food markets, and Mengbanaxi Wonders Garden. For going to the pagodas recommend taking a e-bike, as there is a lot of traffic in that area.. We arrived a bit early, and would use the bathroom, wash up, and store our luggage The front desk lady was so nice and kind, we weren't sure how to go to our next destination, she went to the bus station for us to ask how can take the bus as a foreigner,also asked some taxi drivers for us to get a price, and when we left, she prepared for us a small gift bag with some local dessert, and coffee from Myanmar 😊. The bad parts: So freaking noisy! Walls are thin so you can hear everything from your neighbors. Also the cleaning ladies are so loud in the morning, talking to each other, this happens in all lower cost hotels in China.

The temporary decision to go on the journey, avoiding the peak period, the first time I went to Mangshi, 🐬 I chose to stay in this house for a long time. In general, the experience is worth it. The breakfast variety in the morning is OK, and the special bait rice noodles are also equipped, but the two-day experience is very different, and the follow-up will say. Talk about the shortcomings: 1. The breakfast just said, the first day, no matter the dishes or experience, is good; but the next day, because there is a tour group, the breakfast dishes and services can not keep up. It is understandable that there are many people busy, but they deliberately avoid the first wave of people who leave the group. When they go there at 8 o'clock, the dishes of 80 ％ are gone, and they are not made up. The porridge is also swept away. The service staff do not know, which is unreasonable. I can't imagine what it would be like if May 11 came, and I hope the store can strengthen the service. 2. The juice coffee tea and bottled water in the lobby on the first floor are very complete, but the coffee machine has been used for a long time and no one maintains it. When I use it, I found that the residue is cleaned up and reloaded by myself. It is also recommended that if it is not the peak season, at least clean and check it in January or so. It will enhance the experience. To sum up, Lanou is also a flawless hotel, or a satisfactory hotel, I hope to do better, next time I go to Mangshi is still the first choice.
