Great
GGuest Userreally great hotel! it felt really fancy for how cheap it was, and perfectly placed near the airport. room was lovely and we had a great stay.
CCoen FerrariAmazing hotel! The man who greeted me at reception for check in was very nice and professional. Rooms were very clean with complementary still/sparkling water in the fridge. Kettle and Teabags were also available if needed. The room did only have 1 chair at the desk which was a bit annoying, however not a major critique. Shower was very nice, towels and hand soaps / shower gels were provided. However the bathroom door did not have a lock on it as it was a sliding door. It was fine for us since we went as a couple, but is something to take note of. All in all, Great stay!!
TTrevorGreat location right next to the airport terminal. Good value including breakfast. Small basic room but clean, coffee and tea making, decent shower large soft towels. Quite okay for a one night stay
LLiamThis was an exceptionally fantastic experience and my second time staying at The Midland. A wonderful building steeped in history and elegance from top to bottom, wonderful ambience and atmosphere, delicious, fresh food and drink and the most friendly, helpful and courteous team of staff who could not do enough for the guests. Furthermore, you could not ask for a better city centre location, only a stones throw from everything you could possibly need. I will most certainly be back again on my next trip to Manchester!
EEllenStayed for one night and it was generally okay. Came out of Manchester Piccadilly station and it’s about 20 minutes walk from there. Close to Manchester Victoria station, though.
Definitely not Radisson standard but not too bad. Room had stains on the carpet and the hairdryer bag was covered in hair. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned properly. There was one person on reception at night and was difficult to get through because he was rushed off his feet.
Breakfast was okay but pasties and flavoured yoghurts ran out very quickly and were not topped up.
Wound I stay there again, probably not. Should you stay there? No harm in trying it out for yourself. Like I said, it’s not bad.
GGuest UserExcellent value for a late arrival flight before onward train journey the following morning. We even enjoyed the half hour stroll to and from the airport! Bed was comfortable, spacious new shower and good breakfast all included for £57 for two! Thank you!
GGuest UserWas my first time at Premier Inn and i was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. Since there are two hotels on site, I wasn’t sure which ones i was to be in so my Uber driver had to wait while i went inside the hotel. I walked right past the reception desk ( easy to miss bc its so small) and went to kiosk but wasn’t being successfully with it. So teh employee at teh reception desk came over and asked if her could help and checked me in in a heartbeat, allowing me to dismiss the Uber driver. Then the same employee not only helped me with my luggage, but took it up in the elevator for me, and the whole time he explained the amenities of the hotel. Once we reached my room, he continued to show me how the key and electricity works, etc. He also arranged for my airport shuttle in the morning. I’m sorry I can’t remember his name but he was excellent on customer service!!!
The room was large and clean as was the bathroom. The TV automatically turned itself on and I had a hard time finding how to turn it off- no instructions or remote, etc. Although I didn’t use the coffee supplies, the fact that you had liquid milk/creamer for the coffee was a pleasant surprise. My only complaint was that the bed was too soft and the pillows too hard. I also could have I used a blanket and top sheet but turned on the heat instead to be comfortable. I did not use the restaurant or order any room service.
GGuest UserA good, clean hotel about 20 minutes drive from city centre. Staff were nice and helpful. Good food served in restaurant, although it was slightly overpriced for some dishes (nearly £8 for a small bowl of soup, for example). Semi-secure car parking available on site (spaces rather narrow, so you risk getting your car damaged), but just parked in nearby street as it was much easier. Lots of people fail to acknowledge the one-way drive system at front entrance. False fire alarm at 1am took too long to be investigated and have the system reset. One of the lifts wasn’t fully operational. The plug in the bath didn’t fit properly, so had to rely on shower.
GGuest UserMy man told me the doors locked yet there wasn’t any batteries to make functional, he also said I looked like a stoner n can happily smoke ****, so I took upon his request and enjoyed my stay to the fullest, was beneficial of the pricing range as the cost was no more then a 3.5 per bedroom
As for the the essential part of the trip, my associate commandeered a new sleeping partner,
So many thanks to the OUO house members for letting us stay in Middleton 😘
GGuest UserHotel is excellent room and views are lovely. Location is excellent and majority of staff were nice. Only a few issues they give and charge you for doubles in the bar when the menu only gives single prices. The response from the barmaid was you never specified a single when that should be as standard. Also take 50 pound a night for cover in case you spend in the hotel but only refunded 97.60 for the 2 nights. Although we didn’t spend anything on the room. The hotel is super but just those 2 things took the shine of a really great stay.
