Hotels with Parking in Manchester

I recently stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester and wanted to share my thoughts. Location: The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s super accessible to all forms of transport, whether you’re arriving by train, bus, or tram. It’s right in the city center, so you can easily explore Manchester without much hassle. Parking: The parking arrangement is convenient if you’re driving, especially with free parking between 8 pm and 8 am. Outside of those hours, you’ll need to pay, so keep that in mind if you’re staying for longer stretches. Hotel Condition: This is where the hotel shows its age. The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms. Rooms: The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just that—basic. They’re not particularly comfortable, and if you’re picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting. Breakfast: Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast. Staff: The staff are a highlight of the hotel. They’re very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Value for Money: Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay in a central location and don’t mind the dated vibe, it works. We spent our best long weekend in this charming apartment with views over Manchester, we had booked this apartment on Black Friday (€550 for 4 nights instead of 900) and the price quality ratio was really good, I have absolutely nothing to reiterate, the staff of the hotel was really warm and warm even speaking French, the breakfast was complete there was a choice, we were gently offered a meal on the Brexit day that was very good. The apartment was very large 50m2 with a beautiful view well sound-free because there are works absolutely everywhere was clean and well equipped we were in our little cocon we spent wonderful days where we wake up in this The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable.

Loved the experience went for our anniversary took my 8month year old daughter aswel the service was really good and the hotel its self was amazing the spa and swimming was good ! Overall would defo be coming back soon! Worth it all day long!

The hotel has its strong and weak points. The cost is cheap for Manchester and based on its location. You can arguably walk to Deansgate (drive was 5 minutes). There is a large Sainsburys , gym and retail park next door: plus a KFC and macdonalds across the road. The rooms are in desperate need of refurb. Whilst the bedding was nice and clean the rest feels old, dated and in need of a refresh. The walls feel thin and you can hear conversations in other rooms and outside on the corridors. The windows are worse in that road traffic and other noise can be heard. The hotel is built like an annex where reception and restaurant area sits on its own but the rooms are part of the larger building opposite. It is relatively secure though being split probably doesn’t help as anyone can let anyone in. The staff are great and very helpful. The car park availability was terrible. Either it is too small for the hotel or the nearby residents are using it: I think the latter as there was dozens of cars parked in the retail park adjacent to the hotel as well (where I had to park).

I had a great experience during my stay at the hotel. The room was clean, and the service was of a high standard, which made my stay quite pleasant. The only issue I encountered was that the TV in our room was not working. However, the manager was quick to address this problem and offered us an additional hour for check-out as compensation. Overall, despite the minor inconvenience, it was a good experience, and I would consider staying here again.

Attending event in international suite last night so the hotel was ideally to staying aslso this was the three time we have stayed here 🇾🇪⚽️🍺

The hotel is only a short walk from Piccadilly station giving in great access to the trains. Its recent renovation really gives the hotel a clean trendy feel. Our room was spacious and equipped with everything you would need. The king bed and the pull out were comfortable. The bathroom is surprisingly large with lots of room if you need it. Breakfast was simple, but top quality from the hot to the cold options. Great stay.

From start to finish, our stay was fabulous! We visited for my husbands birthday and the staff really made us feel special! The concierge were great and looked after my car and luggage for us and offered us water bottles for the way home. Reception brought us cocktails on arrival which was a lovely touch! When we first arrived to our room, there was a very nice treat plate saying ‘happy birthday!’ which was a lovely gesture. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy and spacious. Breakfast was absolutely delightful and the thought that has gone into the theme of the hotel is amazing! Even my toast (which was freshly baked bread!) came in a little ‘money bag’. I think my only ‘issue’.. and I use that term extremely loosely!!.. was the price tags on ornaments and dressing gowns etc… it felt a little gauche for a 5* hotel. Although I completely understand their reasoning behind it because they are fantastic ornaments.. it did make us panic a little and check everything was in the room before we could relax because we didn’t want to be charged for things! The price list in the ‘Gotham bugle’ was probably enough. It also confused us a little as to what was complimentary because the only thing stated as complimentary was water. Overall, we will definitely stay there again! Thank you for an amazing experience.

My husband and I came to the hotel on Friday 7/10/2022 room 1216 I honestly couldn't say anything negative about this hotel . The moment we walked in Georgia and neelam on reception greeted us warmly and explained everything. Once we settled in we came back to the bar to enjoy the amazing range of cocktails made by Gabriel :) the bar staff were all amazing from the manager phoebe to Pablo and andree they couldn't do more to make you feel welcome . Our room did have a view of the construction but we expected that as we are in the middle of Manchester and it was not a problem at all . The breakfast was beautiful unfortunately I didn't get the gentleman's name who was clearing the tables but he was so nice lastly I would like to give mo from housekeeping a massive shout out our room was spotless and he even gave me a kit kat 😀 what stands out about this hotel is the staff and I mean all the staff shine they all greet you with smiles and I know how hard that can be for a full shift 😀 can't wait to come back thank you

This was such a nice hotel! Highly recommend. We booked for two nights and because the first night had some pipe issues, we had to switch rooms in between the two nights. We did get complimentary breakfasts for the two days though, so that made up for it. Both rooms were super nice and clean, the hotel has been around for years and you can totally feel and experience the history! But they kept it up-to-date so theres a modern side to it too (such as the washrooms are all newly renovated). Would really recommend the breakfast as well because not only is the food great, the overall restaurant and bar area is gorgeous. This is also a pet friendly hotel so we got to enjoy seeing some furry friends too!
