Hotels with Parking in Manchester

I recently stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester and wanted to share my thoughts. Location: The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s super accessible to all forms of transport, whether you’re arriving by train, bus, or tram. It’s right in the city center, so you can easily explore Manchester without much hassle. Parking: The parking arrangement is convenient if you’re driving, especially with free parking between 8 pm and 8 am. Outside of those hours, you’ll need to pay, so keep that in mind if you’re staying for longer stretches. Hotel Condition: This is where the hotel shows its age. The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms. Rooms: The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just that—basic. They’re not particularly comfortable, and if you’re picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting. Breakfast: Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast. Staff: The staff are a highlight of the hotel. They’re very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Value for Money: Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay in a central location and don’t mind the dated vibe, it works. Room was well-designed, clean with modern branded appliances such as a Nespresso machine, Smeg washing machine-dryer, fridge-freezer. Lotsa storage space and spacious bathroom with rain shower. Quiet at night as well for a busy hotel in a popular area. The pool was lovely and hot tub was squeaky clean. Breakfast was table-service but you can pick anything from the menu and I highly recommend the eggs royale! Will defo stay here again when I’m back!

Loved the experience went for our anniversary took my 8month year old daughter aswel the service was really good and the hotel its self was amazing the spa and swimming was good ! Overall would defo be coming back soon! Worth it all day long!

Great budget hotel, within walking distance of central Manchester. I’ve stayed here several times and always had a comfortable quiet night’s sleep. The new parking charges is actually useful as it’s considerably cheaper than putting a car into one of the usual car parks on checkout and as it covers you for 24 hours, you can check out and stay parked at the hotel.

Pros:Clean, stylish interior, excellent customer service, smellis good in all areas, shops nearby, big rooms for UK standard. Con: Not much options for buffet breakfast. Highly recommend !

Excellent views from the bar also level 3 is used for breakfast and meals lunch and evening meals lovely meals towards .manchester , The check in staff were polite , professional and the room was quite old fashioned for the price and for a 4 star , The hotel issued me with a comp check out as booked through *********** from 11am till 12pm and 2 half price drinks at the bar Booked the night before with trip.com which was the cheapest option online cheaper than the hotel direct , Hotel close to train station and tram station , was working going on outside room at 8am to earn trying to rest

The hotel is only a short walk from Piccadilly station giving in great access to the trains. Its recent renovation really gives the hotel a clean trendy feel. Our room was spacious and equipped with everything you would need. The king bed and the pull out were comfortable. The bathroom is surprisingly large with lots of room if you need it. Breakfast was simple, but top quality from the hot to the cold options. Great stay.

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel last weekend. First and foremost, it is absolutely stunning — from its exterior to the reception and restaurant on the sixth floor to the en-suite Club Rooms my friends and I stayed in. I didn’t get a chance to try out the rooftop bar (it was my hen party so my weekend itinerary was packed) but I’ll definitely be back with my fiancé soon. After having a taste of the Hotel Gotham, I truly can’t think of anywhere else we’d stay when visiting Manchester. The staff were so accommodating — from allowing me to drop off my suitcase in the morning to letting my friend check into her room early and add her husband to the booking. Because I was in the city for a special occasion, the staff even left a little gift for me in my room (a handwritten postcard congratulating me on my engagement, as well as some super tasty sweet treats: iced cookies, chocolate-dipped strawberries and macaroons). Breakfast was delicious too and I was genuinely sad to leave, but I’ll definitely be back again soon.

Well located hotel for my business trip and good facilities. Lovely large room, comfortable and quiet. Good for short stay. Just small bits of feedback...I was given a disabled room and thought the emergency pull was located too close to the toilet roll holder but loved having a large wet room style shower room. I found the sheets a tad hard and duvets too hot for me so a blanket would have been handy. I'd stay again and recommend it as overall ticked a lot of boxes.

This was such a nice hotel! Highly recommend. We booked for two nights and because the first night had some pipe issues, we had to switch rooms in between the two nights. We did get complimentary breakfasts for the two days though, so that made up for it. Both rooms were super nice and clean, the hotel has been around for years and you can totally feel and experience the history! But they kept it up-to-date so theres a modern side to it too (such as the washrooms are all newly renovated). Would really recommend the breakfast as well because not only is the food great, the overall restaurant and bar area is gorgeous. This is also a pet friendly hotel so we got to enjoy seeing some furry friends too!
