Service was very friendly and efficient. Hotel is excellently located - right in the centre of town and next to Victoria station. Breakfast was great value - you do need to book though. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfy.

Worst room we’ve had there. At night you could hear a large extractor fan continuously. Cleaning wasn’t great, hair and product residue in shower. Pillows like rocks. So much to choose from in Manchester will try others now. Young guy on reception didn’t seem interested in helping anyone

The perfect hotel for a short stay in Manchester city centre. The location is ideal and the hotel is still not loud over night on a weekend. The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was lovely. The corridor leading to the room smelled awful though and it could've been a little bit cleaner in general. However, I definitely recommend the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location for anyone visiting the AO arena, within easy walking distance of the arena, the Printworks, and the Arndale centre. Nice clean room and bathroom. Breakfast is good and included in the price, however, it gets very busy at peak times.

Only stayed here for a short trip with access to Piccadilly gardens. Great location to get around Manchester. Basic hotel room, had kettle and hairdryer in room. No iron in room, but you could use the iron on the 6th floor Didn’t use the onsite restaurant & bar etc due to other commitments

Perfect budget friendly hotel. We stayed here for one night and it was just what we needed. Great location, near loads of restaurants and bars. The reception/bar area was cool and quirky. The staff were really friendly from start to finish. We got the no window king room, which had a massive bed and tv which loads of lighting. Was compact but worked well. The free coffee machine is an added bonus. Overall great experience and i’ll be back for sure

I recently stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester and wanted to share my thoughts. Location: The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s super accessible to all forms of transport, whether you’re arriving by train, bus, or tram. It’s right in the city center, so you can easily explore Manchester without much hassle. Parking: The parking arrangement is convenient if you’re driving, especially with free parking between 8 pm and 8 am. Outside of those hours, you’ll need to pay, so keep that in mind if you’re staying for longer stretches. Hotel Condition: This is where the hotel shows its age. The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms. Rooms: The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just that—basic. They’re not particularly comfortable, and if you’re picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting. Breakfast: Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast. Staff: The staff are a highlight of the hotel. Nice clean room and modern clean shower room. The hotel is in a good location and within easy reach of the city centre. Quite a good buffet breakfast but the restaurant area is quite small and gets very busy so best to avoid peak time.

Well located hotel for my business trip and good facilities. Lovely large room, comfortable and quiet. Good for short stay. Just small bits of feedback...I was given a disabled room and thought the emergency pull was located too close to the toilet roll holder but loved having a large wet room style shower room. I found the sheets a tad hard and duvets too hot for me so a blanket would have been handy. I'd stay again and recommend it as overall ticked a lot of boxes.
