PLACE IS NOT CLOSED IT IS JUST USED AS A REFUGEE CAMP NOW, would say avoid but the police will stop you going anywhere near the building horrible management, horrible ihg hotel,never ever ever ever book here you’ll be wasting your time…………..

Great overnight stay
Staff were very efficient, but also very pleasant and helpful. Perfect combination.
Breakfast was very good - the usual HI buffet, well cooked, but never overcooked. Great choice. Good sty. We would return.

After a long journey we got disturbed twice with loud knocking on our door, complained and nothing was resolved

Don’t stay here.
The check in was extremely slow, about 25 minutes total, the guy on reception kept helping other people while serving us which left us stood there for ages at midnight tired not behind helped. The room was dirty, I moved one of the twin beds over to make a double and it was filthy underneath. There were hairs in the bath and drains and the room was very dated.

Closed for the night + parking fine
Hotel closed without notifying us. We turned up and the hotel was closed. We were then fined £100 for being in their car park whilst arranging alternative accommodation.
