Apartamentos Playa Moreia

Palma de Mallorca is wonderful. everything was amazing, location of the hotel Apartamentos Playa de Moreia was excellent

The hotel room was fine but basic but thankfully the air con worked in ours as my sister was on the other side with no air con and sweating all night. Make sure you get a room with proper air con pump WITH a remote control as some other rooms have the old ones. No remote and rubbish. Check in was horrible at 2.30am with a young, rude guy on reception basically forcing us to pay tourist tax before we could go to the room. I expected to be able to pay that on my card as had not yet got euros. He said no card machine?!! This was not allowed and had to be cash… basically laughing in my face. Told me to go to the ATM at that time in the morning with my 9 year old son? After a bit of a heated discussion He printed the invoice and put on my file. I said to him, I am here for a week so I will pay it!!! (15 euros!). We got to the room and it was like a sauna. I had to go back to reception to ask again. He was laughing at me. Saying shall I go get the boss. I said yes do that if you can’t sort it yourself. He said I have only been here three months. I said that’s obvious you’re not very helpful 😩 He gave me remote control didn’t work, back to reception and he continued to condescend/ laugh and say I wasn’t working it properly. I pretty much had to drag him to the room to then for him to realise it was saying 35 degrees in there and in fact the remote control was not working ☹️ it was a bad start and bad impression to the hotel. There was no understanding or care that it was me with my 9 year old son and 3am in the morning shattered :-( Thankfully after that, the day time reception ladies were lovely. There’s a great pool and lots of sun beds. Nice bar area and also we had some great live entertainment nights. So apart from the initial bad start, we had a good time. Be aware, the Internet does not work very well. You have to get tickets to put in an internet access code on a daily basis from the reception but they are happy to do this. Even though the ticket say Internet for seven days. Definitely does not work like that. Does not work well by the pool, only in the room. So the only main issue was the air con and having to pay euros for the tourist tax when everything else you can pay by card? Overall it was in great location by the beach and we enjoyed the pool. Clean room and hotel. The rest of the staff were lovely

A lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Comfortable rooms, lovely decor, great facilities, on the beach and amazing food. Would definitely recommend half board as there is a great selection of food each day. Staff are very helpful and friendly, always smiling. We went on 19th July and it wasn't overcrowded which was lovely. Always got a sun bed round the pool and enjoyed the games room. Hired a car and electric bikes from the hotel which was great. Would definitely return. Thanks for a great holiday xxxx

This hotel is an absolute gem. First impressions at reception were mind blowing. The decor and view is amazing. The room was comfortable and well equipped although all we did was shower n sleep there. There was a kettle,fridge,crockery,cutlery and a hairdryer in the bathroom. Balcony was a good size with views of the beach,beautiful views. The pool is a good size with the bar area also a good size. No complaints from me or my other half. There wasn’t a great deal of English people staying here on our holiday which was nice as we didn’t have to listen to people moaning about the place! There’s a good variety of shops and restaurants on both sides of the hotel and within walking distance. Stayed here B&B so unsure bout other meals but breakfast was good. A wide variety of food to have and spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend if you want a quiet getaway. We will be booking again soon. 5🌟 for everything ☀️

Stayed here for a week with my sister. We had a great time the hotel is clean and welcoming, staff were brilliant throughout. The rooms were clean and comfortable good air conditioning helped as the was a heat wave when we were there. There is some upgrading needed but nothing that would cause a problem. The pool area was great and clean always had a life guard on duty. There is not a lot of entertainment on in the hotel but the bar staff more than made up for this they were amazing really putting themselves out to ensure everyone was enjoying their holiday. Reception staff were helpful polite and friendly. All in all I’d recommend staying here , great for families.
