Hotel Matheo Villas & Suites

In general a good hotel. There are still a few things that you wonder about as a guest. Tourist tax had to be paid in cash even though there is a payment terminal at the reception. You have been traveling for half a day and then you have to look for a machine to get cash. In addition, the times of the buffet are completely wrong. You can supposedly have breakfast from 7:30. At 7:30 there was still nothing to be seen, that is when they only start. In terms of hospitality there is still a lot of work to be done. You notice that it is a hotel where a lot of Germans stay and since the owners also speak fluent German, you are welcomed like kings. The other guests, with a different nationality, are therefore somewhat left to their own devices. Even a good morning could not be said every day. We stayed for 11 days and there are certain luxurious beds in the pool where you can lie on and after 8 days they came to say that we have to consume to lie on those beds. If not, they were going to “charge” us for this. The worst of all is that they only come to tell us this. Professionalism is really not the issue here. The hotel room is spacious, the only downside is that it was absolutely impossible to get a t****e key card. This causes the room to heat up when you are away (no electricity for the air conditioning) and when you return you end up in a breeding ground. In addition, we received torn towels once and discovered that there was an insect of 10 cm on the curtain. In short, we had a nice holiday because we often went to Malia city and rented a car, but a future return is not in the cards for us.

Außergewöhnlich gutes familiengeführtes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem und umsichtigen Personal. Die Anlage ist in einem super tollen Zustand. Sehr schöne Poolanlage. Eine abwechslungsreiche, gute Küche verwöhnt die Gäste. Positiv ist auch die ruhige Lage. Wir haben uns hier sehr gut erholt.
