Lovely place was very clean and lovely staff ,, the barman in the bottom pool was horrible to our family last day calling my 5 year old a nuisance he has autism day 12 he was missing home he been loving it until then ..was a little unsettled.. ..no other complaints from people who have been by pool for 2 weeks with us the way he spoke about my son today shame on.him sat 30 August ...the manager dealt with us very nice though much appreciated

Great staff and quality experience. I will never forget this holiday and they friends we met here. All the people here were really friendly and run well by the staff. I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a hotel. The food was great. The drinks were top-notch and easy to find restaurant. I honestly adore this place and will never forget it. The bar people are so friendly and so are every single person in this hotel. We have met so many friends here and hope this place keeps getting great people. I could not ask for any more.

We went on a girls holiday and the hotel was good, all the staff were lovely especially George who sorted out our room. To any girls visiting please be careful and come back to the hotel in big groups, not the hotels fault but had a dangerous experience outside walking back. The security guard and staff were all helpful following it

George the owner is nasty and horrible to all the younger people especially the girls. He will barge in your room if you’re making noise after 8pm leaving you to feel threatened. Everyone who makes the tiniest bit of noise is threatened to be kicked out and George is very rude about it considering this hotel is basically on the *****. Limited amenities offered, no microwave and limited cooking utensils. The stoves look about 20 years old and you cannot tell which part is on or off. The shower head is also very weak so you cannot wash your hair properly.

Maria Rousse Studios, what a fabulous place. We stayed for 2 weeks and rebooked for next year halfway through our stay. Maria , George and all the staff are amazing and helpful and really friendly. I would highly recommend staying here. Can't wait for June 2026.

Booked a superior double studio room for 10nights, 5 I shared my room with my sister and 5 nights solo, PERFECT what a fabulous place. This family run apartments is immaculately clean with the most wonderful friendly staff that make you feel so welcome, I thank you all for my fabulous vacation. I did not go for the breakfast option so I am unable to comment there but their menu available all day and evening has many options which is all is really good, well presented and really great value for money. There are 2 lovely bars with relaxed seating areas, drinks prices are fabulous too €4 a pint €3.5 a nice glass of wine. The 2 pools are cleaned at the end of the each day and one has a jacuzzi section that you have to ask the beautiful barman Aris to turn on and off for you, wonderful! Maria Rousse is perfectly situated, a really short walk to all the beautiful tavernas in the old town of Malia, a short walk to the main Malia ***** which comes alive at night, the beach is situated at the end of the main ***** where there are many lovely beach bar clubs for sun beds, drinks and food. I loved my stay at Maria Rousse and the beautiful staff that I have just booked to return in September WAHOO! Highly recommend for solo travellers, friends and couples alike 😍
