The building and the outside grounds/pool area are well maintained. The rooms however are lacking in contrast. In need of updating. Basic amenities were missing ie bathroom mat, no plug in kitchen sink or bathroom, cutlery missing, only 1 pilllow each. inventory check should be done on basic items instead of having to go and ask for them. That said the room was cleaned every day plus bedding and towels changed daily. We had breakfast and lunch here, food and service excellent. Just to make you aware non residents can use the pool and sunbeds and because they use the same beds regularly they feels its ok to move your bags and towels to another sun bed. Which did cause confrontation one morning, the excuse given was they feed the local cats that appear to know them. But the truth is they wanted the same sunbed in their favourite position everyday. One last comment is there is no personal touch by the owner Maria. She didnt interact with us, ask how our stay is going, is everything ok. Not a good morning or evening from her. Even on check out she was on the phone and didnt acknowledge us.

Je boekt dit hotel maar ze vertellen er niet bij dat je niet aan het zwembad mag zitten met eigen drinken en eten. Dat moet je afnemen in het restaurant. De sfeer vind ik ook best wel restaurant gericht. Alsof het daar om draait. Je kan niet lekker bij het zwembad zitten. Dat kan wel maar hoort bij het restaurant. De mensen zijn aardig maar ik vind het allemaal heel onpersoonlijk.

We love this place,probably the best pool in stalis. Not far from nice restaurants (including Pela’s own restaurant)and bars but far enough to be quiet. Sunbathing around the pool listening to the cycardas is so relaxing. Rooms are great and clean with everything you need for self catering. The beach is only a short walk. It’s our happy place in Crete.

I’ve stayed here many times & love everything about this place. Family run apartments located a short walk from nearest beach. A large pool & a splash pool for the kids set in green grassed garden furnished with sunbeds / umbrellas. The rooms are well maintained & housekeeping is amazing. There is a fabulous restaurant (Elia food & drink) serving from breakfast till late, a comprehensive menu suiting all tastes. The family & staff are all great & go above and beyond to make your stay a wonderful experience.

Stayed for 7 nights self catering. We were given a second floor sea view room which had 2 balconies and was lovely. The room was packed with all the amenities we needed for our stay, however we did go to the local supermarket to purchase a cloth, wash liquid and hand soap as not in the room. This was our first time self catering so was unsure what we would receive. The room was large, bright and clean with a kitchen and table area. The bathroom had a large shower and also spacious. The main bedroom was well appointed and very clean. The pool area was lovely, no need to reserve beds as plenty for all. Although in the height of season this maybe different. The staff were attentive and helped us when needed, other than that they left us to come and go and enjoy our holiday. You pay 10 euro to use the safe deposit box that is located in the wardrobe. Also a charge for A/C - believe this is 50 euro, we didn’t need it on this trip. All in all I would definitely stay at this family run hotels again, it’s clean, safe and in a great location to explore Stalis, Malia and hop on the local buses to travel the island.

Stayed in a sea view studio apartment. Very clean in fact spotless. Towels and bedding changed frequently throughout stay. Very comfy beds nice shower, Basic but has everything you need. Very friendly family run with fantastic pool and restaurant at very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
