Popular Malgrat de Mar 4-star Hotels

This was our seventh visit to this hotel and we stayed for three weeks on halfboard basis. Once again, we were not disappointed. It has many things going for it, ie, Lovely grounds which included three swimming pools, one which his heated, a poolside bar, an indoor Spa with pool. A great outdoor terrace to to sit and relax, with shades above to protect you from the Sun. The rooms are a good size with a balcony and a very large comfortabel bed and the maids ensure every day that the rooms are kept spotless. The food in the Restaurant is really top class and very varied. Again, the staff are really friendly, even though they always seemed to be very busy, doing what they do The thing that makes this hotel so special to us, are also, the lovely ladies who look after the rooms and the cleaning. They are always pleasent and always happy to help if it is needed. There are also, certain members of staff who we would like too name, who really helped to make our stay, so enjoyable. Carmen on reception, who sorted a problem we had with our shower, she was always keen to talk and chat with us. Alex, who looks after the pool and garden area and always has the time to ask us if we are enjoying ourselves. Tne staff in the Restaurant, too many to name individually but we would like to name a few of them. Martina, Karl and Maria who always met us with a smile and made our stay that little bit more special by being very attentive to our needs. We look forward to returing to the hotel next year and meeting up again with the staff who have now adopted us as (family). Room 641.

Excellent staff, wonderful size hotel for a families first holiday abroad, food was good and apartments were ok. We had an issue when we landed at Barcelona airport with a stolen bag, the hotel staff were outstanding at assisting us, being sympathetic and couldn’t have done more. Activities are well organised and advertised at the hotel. During the day there’s a few activities to take part in and in the evening there’s a good programme. It does run later than you’d hope for younger kids but we managed to go to some of it. The hotel itself is well located and not far from the train station (20 mins walk). The beach is accessible via the underpass, it is a shingle beach, so you’ll need good footwear. The hotel staff were again very helpful if you wanted to go anywhere or need advice about places. A few doors down there is an entertainment arcade, great 😊 for the kids (and adults)! We loved Hotel Europa Splash 👍🏻

I do not understand the number of bad reviews. Please do not listen to them. Staff are absolutely amazing and accomdating, go above and beyond to help you out. We arrived very late and our room was absolutely spottless. Cleaned daily, fresh towels, emptied bins ect. Hotel is immaculate everywhere, pool and the beds are available and there is enough. Any requests the staff are happy to help. We are family 4 FROM ENGLAND first time in this area. We have fussy eaters, teenagers and one vegetarian all of which were blown away with the amount of food and choices available, Absolutely delicious and hot continually topping up food if needed. The staff work extremely hard to provide top service. In amazing location for local transport etc many day trips and things to do. The beach has toilets, cafe and sun beds for 8 eruo a piece. The sea water is fine if you go in acompany your little ones as you should. Bigger kids are fine on there own with plenty of activities. The spainsh are warm and inviting 100% enjoyed our stay. I will say this, in our week stay I witnessed many times how rude some guests have been towards staff totally unessary. No problem with English or any other country or colour maybe a case of better treatment to the workers while on your holiday! Many thanks for our lovely stay we shall see you again. 😊

Excellent friendly and welcoming hotel, from the reception to the ladies who clean your room every day, all are friendly and cannot do enough for your stay to be perfect, even going above and beyond. No fighting for sunbeds, rooftop pool which is quieter for couples with no children, pool bar staff was so friendly. I cannot praise this hotel enough and close to beach, train to Barcelona, shops and weekly market. Thankyou everyone for a wonderful stay ❤️

The guy at the reception was very friendly at check-in and tried to help us at all times. The double rooms are very good size and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is also very good in size and well equipped. The views from the balcony are unbeatable, it is a great place to enjoy the sunrise. It is true that being next to the train stop, you will hear the trains in the morning. But it's really worth it to be awake at that time, especially so you don't miss breakfast, which was my favorite part. Very varied and abundant, of good quality. I wouldn't give it a 10 for cleanliness but overall it's fine. I would definitely give this hotel a higher rating than what appears on the internet, quality and price is great, especially if you book it with one of the trip.com discounts.

The service was top-notch. The staff was friendly and eager to help. Veysi is a great host, ready to help with any questions you have. The hotel is very close to anything you could want or need, perfectly placed between the beach, shops and city centre. The hotel is also very clean(the staff make sure to clean the rooms everyday) and the breakfast is big, good and free. Me and my parents really enjoyed our stay here and would be delighted to come back(hopefully soon) :) Minor complaint: The walls are not very noise-cancelling and some neighbours can be quite loud(although that is not the fault of the hotel)
