Tranquil Getaways on Obi Maleny

We enjoyed our relaxing week at Tranquil Getaways especially the peace and quiet and easy walking distance to town.Unfortunately we did not see any wildlife. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable.Breakfast supplies were plentiful, assorted and very enjoyable.Especially the bottle of wine. The owners Barb and Greg were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. If we ever come this way again would definitely stay here and we will recommend our friends to stay here. Thanks for having us Barb and Greg.

My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night stay at Tranquil Getaways On Obi at Maleny in July. Our villa was spacious and very comfortable. We had a lovely verandah overlooking the Obi Obi Creek and spent some time, in vain, platypus spotting. We weren’t successful this time but our host Barb sent us a video the following day of the platypus she spotted in the creek. We’ll have to return to see if we can spot one another time. Our hosts Barb and Greg were very welcoming and, although we didn’t need to ask them for anything, they would have been very happy to oblige if we did. We had included a welcome platter and it was fabulous. So much food and much of it locally sourced and some handmade. Delicious. We enjoyed our welcome bottle of wine on the verandah with local cheeses. The location was excellent and a short stroll from the Maleny shops. We think we’ll be back.

Great location overlooking creek and trees with easy access Maleny,s Main Street. Good communications and little extras provided added to the enjoyment of our stay. It was a quiet and peaceful stay, there was just the sound of the birds Jill

We spent a beautiful weekend here and left feeling like new people. The Relaxation Package was more than just a name, it truly delivered on its promise. The sound immersion and massage were deeply grounding, and exactly what I needed to reconnect with myself and find a sense of calm I hadn’t felt in a long time. The location is perfect, peaceful yet just a short, easy walk to lovely local cafes and shops, so you feel tucked away without feeling remote. We were completely spoilt with pre-made platters of fresh, local produce waiting in the fridge, every detail taken care of so we could fully unwind. The view was breathtaking, and soaking in the spa with that outlook felt like time stood still. The breakfast hamper was overflowing with thoughtful, nourishing goodies, everything from fresh bread to seasonal treats. You can feel the care in every corner of this place. The owners went the extra mile, and it didn’t go unnoticed. It’s the kind of stay that fills your cup in all the right ways. Highly recommend if your heart, body, or spirit needs a little (or a lot of) love.

Such a peaceful place to spend a couple of days, could not fault it in any way. As it is away from the road, fronting the flowing creek, the only noises heard are from the birds. Decor is simple and tasteful, so clean and comfortable. Extras included such as a breakfast basket of goodies and fresh milk and yoghurt in the fridge were much appreciated. Proximity to shops and walking trails meant the car wasn't needed until it was time to leave. Highly recommend this desirable venue for a restful few days.

This property is amazing. Great location. The villas are spacious and private with incredible views of the creek, yet close to restaurants and attractions in Maleny. The owners are so friendly and helpful and, if the location is not tranquil enough, enjoy a yoga session with Barb while you're there. All the food provided in the villa hamper is top quality. A magnificent hidden gem in Maleny.
