Hotels near Malacca Airport, Melaka

I spent a night here after my talk in a nearby hospital. It is located at the business area of Ayer Keroh, which on the contrary, is not very busy. As it is one of the tallest building around, finding the hotel is not difficult. As the title suggest, it is a basic no frills hotel. The lobby is small and well lit. The room is clean and functional. It was well worth for the price. The issue is since it is fairly cheap, the hotel seems to be choice of the rowdy Mainland Chinese tourists. The breakfast was where they displayed their disorderliness.

Booked deluxe room but somehow got a suite (wasn't informed of this change). Checked in at almost 6pm but was told room wasn't ready so we had to wait 10mins, which was quite disappointing. Hotel is pretty dated but it is clean. Both tv not working in the suite. So good chance to just rest well after walking around

The hotel was previously known as Ramada Hotel. Dusit Princess conmends operation in early December 2024. So, they may have to tidied up before operation. Thus, it is clean, room big enough for 3 Adults. The showers' water strength were strong. Hot water temperature control was good and consistent. Air-conditioning temperature was not consistent although fan speed was ok. The gym is well equipped. Swimming pools look clean good for both adults and children. Overall, I would recommend to stay.

The hotel was much bigger than we had anticipated. It is a really beautiful place, hidden away in the nice city of Melaka. The lobby is beautifully designed, but freezing and the whole hotel seemed drenched in some kind of perfume, which made me a bit dizzy. Our room had the weirdest smell- but I think it was intentional...as though they had made it smell like that on purpose...like mouldy hay. The room was really pretty and the little patio is a nice touch. We informed the desk that we's be checking out at 12:50. but still, the same concierge called us at 12:00, waiting impatiently for us to check out. We were also hardly ever greeted upon entering the hotel. Weird. Once everything is done, I'm sure it will be a nice place. I wish the plants were real. They are all plastic and it shows, unfortunately. The location is perfect, just around the corner from China Town and Junkers Walk. I think it's a decent place to stay for a night or two.

Clean and spacious room. Very good experience and near to town. Limited parking space on back of hotel. We managed to find parking during monday and tuesday. Melaka free parking during these two days. Only downside is the slide too high , wide and angle like 45 degrees , when reach floor does not have the curve angle, so your kid bottom might feel pain. Very quality hair dryer and nice projector.

We booked this hotel as per recommended by other guests reviews. However, the first thing we feel upon arriving at 3pm is that the lobby is very warm, there is not even a think cold air blowing from the ceiling air-con. Anyway, we booked 2 rooms a week ago and we were told that the rooms are not ready, yet. The check-in time for this hotel is 3pm, but we have waited 30 minutes only to get our first room and another 30 minutes to get second room. The first room was super dark as there were only 1 light working, so we ended up calling the maintenance to fix all other lights in the room. The second room was not clean, hair were everywhere and there's even a pair of leggings hanging in the wardrobe. Both rooms showers were not properly clean, hence the water is not able to run, as it's clogged due to massive hair balls stucked in the hole. That's not all. As our rooms doesn't comes with breakfast, we bought 2 breakfast for the first room for next day. There was no meal vouchers given to us except the receipt as the receptionist told us to show just the room key to the cafe staff. But, the cafe staff refused to let us in even after we showed the room key to him. He told us that we need to present meal voucher to him, which was not told to us by the receptionist. We told him to checked in the system as we have paid for it and he refused to do so. He shoved us away immediately without checking further. After all the hassle, we went to the receptionist at lobby and seek for refund. And we were told that it takes 15 working days for the refund (which is MYR30 only). We paid by cash for the breakfast when we check in, but we cannot get our cash back instantly for refusing us go enter the cafe. We don't think that we deserved such treatment by the hotel staff, just because the room rate are affordable, doesn't means the hospitality standards can be regards as third world class. What else can we ask for? If it's not due to TripAdvisor system, I don't even want to give even 1 rating.

Great experience with Rosa Malacca. From the entrance to the room until checkout. Mr Steve, the sarawak reception guy (i sempat tanya dia asal mana hehe) is damn friendly & soft spoken. Siap bagi choice i nak bilik view mana sama ada city atau courtyard view. Siap tanya baby i perlukan baby cot tak. I don’t request anything but he is really accommodating and good heart. We love his hospitality so much The 1st Hotel I checked in without Deposit! But they remind you not to cause damage in the room and no smoking gais. Clean room everything complete. The coffee house vibe is really beautiful with good music. The coffee house staff also friendly echah and aishah. Great hospitality and culture in here keep it up gais. Excellent location easy accessible to malls & places of interest by walking. Eating places, convenient marts, pharmacy, Watsons just a stone throw away. Check in/out was done efficiently/timely and lifts work fast and friendly checkin staff. Digital lock door, balcony & Attached kitchen with microwave, mini fridge & kettle. Room maintenance average.. balcony can’t locked, tap loose and aircon noisy. Bed area was dusty. NIL free wifi🥹

The location is one hour drive from Kuala Lumpur. Hotel was nice and clean. The room was spacious. The bed is awesome. All is clean and nice. The pool is amazing. My kids loved it so much. We played table pool the whole day. Breakfast spread is okay. There is one staff name Joy who served us with Teh Tarik. Overall stay was fun and we loved it.
