We requested for 2 beds but not available & down graded to Room 1643, the only 2 bedded room available.
The air conditioning was terrible. Though I increased temperature to 28, I had to turn off the aircon as it was freezing cold. To my surprise, the meter showed 19 degrees which I took it to be the room temperature.
I called for the technician who said he had checked it previously & that was the result of centralized air conditioning. He refused to check the thermostat!
The attitude of the technician was atrocious. The doormen & concierge were excellent.
Only advantage of Hatten is that it's close to 2 malls.

The hotel is directly connected to the Dataran Pahlawan Megamall and is just a short, covered walkway away from Mahkota Parade. You are literally steps away from shopping, a huge variety of restaurants, cinemas, and a supermarket.

The room was so terrible and no well maintained. The water leaked from the ceiling at midnight, when I spoke to reception was been ignored. This is horrible hotel ever in Melaka.

arrived early, allowed us to leave our bags at the concierge. checked in only at night, but they don't have desired bed type (2 single beds). instead we were allocated a room with king bed, and they almost immediately sent a single bed with portable frame and a full set of toiletries. location is central and convenient, within walking distance to popular attractions and local favourites. room is spacious and entire hotel space is clean. staff are all courteous and provide prompt services.

Hotel only provide torn bath towels. There isn’t hand or face towel.
Housekeeping (feels likes budget hotel)
Room is very very spacious. But poorly maintained
It is opposite a mall with limited shops.
