Booked 5 standard rooms and all allocated on different floors. Along the corridor leading to the elevator and the rooms allocated just next to the elevator left and right, we have experienced a very strong smell in the room and corridor area, some kind of sewage smell. One of the rooms allocated on the 3rd floor also has an air conditioning problem. Informed the front desk staff to request for the rooms changed for the 3 rooms and action has been taken efficiently. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for my group of 10 people.

I stayed at Baba House for weekend getway from Penang3D2N and it is exceeded my expectation as a hotelier in terms of comfort and convenience.
Location: walking distance to jonker night market
Breakfast : perfect to start our day
Service : friendly staff and attentive
Hotel room & property ambience : the setting & vibe
Boutique & heritage , modern& cozy
Conclusion : Excellent

Great hotel and fascinated by the architecture.
Can’t imagine from the look of the hotel front that inside of the building is so big that has 127 rooms.
Breakfast is only passable.
Will stay again without opting for breakfast next time.
