As per previous review. For this booking, thanks to Mr Haitam for assissting me. I got a room near to the lift. Thank you so much 🙂 On average, i waited less than 1 minute for the lift. Extra 2-5minutes from the hotel to reach Kudi bus station by the shuttle bus. 6-8minutes walk from Kudi bus station to the mosque. Going back from the mosque to the hotel takes a bit longer time during peak hours. Overall, i highly recommend this hotel.
*************..Check-in smooth..Rooms and toilet in perfect condition. Have 4 lifts. Shuttle bus provided to Haram..every 10 mins.. My family had a pleasant stay at this hotel..
I stayed at this hotel during my trip, and it left a truly positive impression. The unique design and concept of the hotel make you feel like you're on another planet! The rooms are modern, spotless, and very comfortable, with attention to every detail.
One of the standout features for me was the dining experience. The availability of a wide variety of halal food was a huge advantage. This is especially important for travelers with specific dietary preferences. The food was fresh, diverse, and absolutely delicious. The staff was courteous and always ready to assist.
The hotel’s location was another highlight – close to many shops and attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring Guangzhou.
I highly recommend Guangzhou Planet Concept Hotel to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a memorable stay. It’s definitely become one of my favorites!
This hotel is pretty close to the haram gate 86 to 89. So the location is convenient.
Hotel rooms are tiny and there is hardly a place to even stand up properly ( if like us you go into a triple single bedroom)
Service is probably okay for 2 star hotel that it is.
Make sure you carry your own USB phone charging plug because the ones in the hotel rooms do not work or if your lucky to to have a USB port then it is extremely slow and is useless.
This hotel is probably okay for a group of young male/females or a single person but not for families with children.
Even the television sets do not work in the bedrooms.
Price is probably okay if you book in advance but not worth it if you just walk in to a hotel and pay the full price.
This hotel is next level unreal! The pictures of the rooms don't do it justice, it's way better in reality (at least in my case). We booked three rooms for 5 nights in Jan/ Feb 2025, were located in tower 3 - Al Falak Tower in rooms 708/ 6**/6**. The bathrooms were unbelievable, all stunning white marble with some super fancy design, so so amazing, the shower was so big you could fit like 7 people in there, I have never stayed in such a luxury room before. Ceilings are like 4 metres, really unbelievable. The colour palette for the room was muted greys and pastels, it looked very nice, suited the room and location. One thing that would be useful, can the hotel just install a Japanese bidet instead of a separate one, I think it's a waste installing a standalone bidet and the all-in-one bidet toilet is current technology, so it would be useful compared to the current setup (Toto toilet, etc).
Now, the sad bit. The distance from the Haram is advertised as not far, and it isn't. But the reality is it's extremely difficult to enter the haram, because of the crowds, it is just heaving. The police close off the haram to outsiders as soon as the adhaan goes, so you can't enter (be aware), and you'll have to pray outside the boundaries of the haram if you are not inside the area before the adhaan (this may be subject to change, and I cannot confirm how they arrange their opening times etc, please confirm on your own travels).
Inside the haram, there is ridiculous construction work going on, all entrances are purposefully blocked, so that huge traffic builds up (I remember 10 years ago in 2014 when I stayed at Bai Al Abraaj, you could just walk into the Ma3taf area of the haram in about 5 minutes, now it is impossible. ). I have no idea what the government is doing, but it seems to intentionally be closing off areas to stop people from entering, which is really a shame. It seems that the purpose is that you rather go to all the shops and malls outside the mall, or pray inside your hotel rather than venture out, this seems the goal of the current administration by closing off all entrances, or causing huge areas to be cordoned off so that getting in easily is impossible. I got so sick of the crowds that i ended up not wanting to go into the haram afterwards (the crowds inside are really next level crazy, they will push and drive wheelchairs up your legs and cut you - happened to me but maybe I was just unlucky).
The hotel is exceptional and so is the buffet breakfast/ dinner - breakfast is between 90 - 119riyals, and dinner is about 149 riyals. Food is amazing, but it's sad that most people pile their plates with croissants etc, don't take a bite and throw it away, such a shame. I hope the hotel can have signs up to prevent such ridiculous wastage, or at least give this food to the outside poor people.
During my stay at your hotel, I was impressed by the services provided by Mr. Arif Husain ( room Service). His professionalism , promptness, and friendly demeanor made my visit truly comfortable and enjoyable. Employee like him reflect the high standard of the hotel. Plz extend my appreciation to him. However, I would suggest that reception staff should improve their English and guest support skill to improve the overall standard. Thanks
Located in Makkah (Al Shubaikah), Sama Samah Hotel is within a 15-minute walk of Great Mosque of Makkah and Kaaba. This hotel is 0.4 mi (0.7 km) from Abraj Al-Bait Towers and 0.6 mi (0.9 km) from King Fahad Gate.
Make yourself at home in one of the 65 air-conditioned guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Conveniences include phones and safes, and housekeeping is provided daily.
Stayed in Emaar Al Khalil for 5 nights in Jan 2025, enjoyed the stay, 7-10 minutes walk from Masjid Al Haram, hotel staff are friendly and helpful. I’d like to thank Johirul Islam who works as a house keeper who went above and beyond to help us.
My stay at Worth Elite Hotel during my trip to Makkah was amazing. The overall experience was decent, there are a few aspects worth noting for future travelers.
The hotel itself is modern, with clean and comfortable rooms that provided a peaceful place to rest after long days at the holy sites. The staff were courteous and accommodating, always willing to help with any requests. The service, though not exceptional, was reliable, and the housekeeping staff ensured that the rooms were well-maintained throughout my stay.
One of the standout aspects is the surrounding area. There are several amazing hotels nearby that offer a variety of dining and shopping options, which added a great deal of convenience during my stay. The proximity to these amenities definitely made it easier to find good restaurants and places to explore.
However, the one challenge I encountered was the location of the hotel itself. It was a bit difficult to find, especially for first-time visitors, as it’s tucked away from the main roads. Even with GPS, I found it a little confusing to navigate, so I recommend planning your route in advance.
From Hotel to Masjid-Al-Haram it’s 7min walk, which is worth it. However, if you are extremely tired from walking then it’s bit tough. Hotel doesn’t provide shuttle and the taxi is bit expensive.
Despite the minor location issue, Worth Elite Hotel offers a comfortable stay with helpful staff and great options nearby, making it a solid choice for travelers to Makkah.
