Hotels in 60th Street, Makkah

This is a nice hotel, budget level on the famous Umm Al Qura road, not far from bus depot and walking distance to haram Sharif. It has several restaurants nearby and smaller mosques also. As for the hotel it is nice and quiet, no issues. The room was nice and clean. Kettle was provided and had furniture too. And also towel. I would use it again.

Très bon hôtel. L'équipe hôtelier est super accueillant et à l'écoute de nos petits besoins. Les chambres sont correctes (correspond bien à un hôtel 3 étoiles) et propres. Le petit bémol, l'hôtel n'est pas très proche du Masjid Al Haram. Toutefois, il y a un service de bus gratuit mis à notre disposition et qui nous dépose à environ 7 à 10min à pieds d'une des entrées du Masjid.

We had a nice stay in the hotel, service is good , staff is helpful and friendly, we didn’t have any issues during our stay. Location was not ideal, about 25 min walk, if you take shuttle, then it’s 15 mins to Harram. Road works still going but they tend to finish and underpass should be running in Ramadan which will then reduce travel time for sure.

Before leaving Turkey, I almost changed my mind after reading the negative reviews about this hotel. However, given its proximity to the Kaaba and the fact that my mother was traveling with me, I thought, *“At least let me see it for myself—if I don’t like it, I can always switch to another hotel.”* To my delight, all my preconceptions were shattered from the very first moment! The staff is extremely courteous and attentive, the rooms are spotless, and the food is delicious. Plus, the hotel is within walking distance of the Kaaba and right next to the bazaar—no need for transportation. I was particularly impressed by the genuine care and problem-solving efforts of the reception staff. Now, I’m starting to think those who wrote negative reviews might have had some ulterior motives. ————— Türkiye’den yola çıkmadan önce bu otelle ilgili olumsuz yorumları okuyunca neredeyse vazgeçiyordum. Ancak Kabe’ye yakınlığı ve annemin de benimle olması nedeniyle ”En azından bir göreyim, beğenmezsem başka bir otele geçeriz” diye düşündüm. Ne mutlu ki oteldeki ilk andan itibaren tüm önyargılarım kırıldı! Personel son derece saygılı ve ilgili, odalar tertemiz, yemekler ise lezzetli. Ayrıca otel, Kabe’ye yürüme mesafesinde ve çarşının tam dibinde; araç kullanmaya gerek kalmıyor. Özellikle resepsiyon çalışanlarının samimi ilgisi ve sorun çözme konusundaki gayreti beni çok etkiledi. Artık bu otelle ilgili olumsuz yorum yazanların biraz art niyetli olabileceğini düşünüyorum.

Everything was good about this hotel apart from the rude guests who packs on the corridor and make banging noise even on midnight. The authorities should look into it.

The receptionist did not know about the online booking, when i came into the hotel they didn't have the confirmation for the booking reference which until i finished my check in time they still didn't confirm it. They must check the bathroom or toilets. Some of the amenities inside need to be repaired. Like the shower, sink, the wash water sprinkler

This hotel is phenomenal and I can't recommend it enough. The staff, from the moment I arrived, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Mr. Abdallah Al Ansari, in particular, was exceptional—so knowledgeable, passionate, and helpful. The check-in and check-out processes were both seamless, the facilities were excellent, and the breakfast was a magnificent, mouth-watering feast after performing Omra. A major highlight is the location, just a five-minute walk to Gate 79 of Al Haram. The hotel also holds the Guinness World Record for the highest suspended prayer room in the world, an amazing feature that adds to an already wonderful experience.

Arrived 4.30am, excellent staff at check-in gave us our room immediately. Clean spacious room. Excellent housekeeping.Room was near the lift with easy access. Will definitely return when we come back to Makkah.”
