Al Ebaa Hotel

Booked this hotel for an Umraah trip with some friends. Fantastic location, 10 min walk from Haram. 5 min walk from local shops and restaurants. Rooms are brilliant. Has all the usual features you would want in a room. 1st class service from hotel staff. Hotel is also right off the main road so convenient for uber drop offs or pick ups.

Booking a hotel in Makkah was quite a challenge because the hotels close to Haram were expensive, while the affordable ones were far away and required a shuttle service. I was looking for a hotel that was within walking distance, reasonably priced, and didn’t require using a shuttle. During my research, I came across Al Ebaa Hotel on Google Maps. When I looked for more details, I found that there wasn’t much information available, and the reviews were mixed. However, I was able to estimate that the hotel wasn’t too far from Haram. Since this was my first Umrah trip and I wasn’t very familiar with the locations in Makkah, I decided to take a chance and book Al Ebaa Hotel, and it turned out to be a great decision. Our flight arrived late at night, so we checked in after midnight. The check in process was smooth, and we didn’t have to wait. I had originally booked a double bed room, but it wasn’t available, so the receptionist provided a triple bed room instead, which I happily accepted as it wasn’t a major issue for me. Our Room was on 5th Floor. The room was spacious and equipped with all basic amenities, including an electric kettle, tea supplies, a table, chairs, a dressing table, a mini fridge, and a safe. The bathroom wasn’t very large, but the shower area was separate with a glass door. However, water still tended to leak outside. Despite that, all the essential toiletries were provided. Now, coming to the distance from Haram—the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Haram, which I found to be ideal. The area where this hotel is located isn’t as crowded as Ibrahim Khalil Road or the Kabootar Chowk side. One important thing to note is that there is a slight incline when walking to and from the hotel. However, for me, this location was perfect, as it allowed me to comfortably walk to Haram for all my prayers. A special mention to Mr. Tufail from housekeeping for his excellent service and polite demeanor. An area for improvement: I emailed them nearly a month before my arrival but didn’t receive a response. I believe the reservation team could improve their responsiveness.

Me and my wife stayed here for 4 nights for our Umrah. I'm from the UK so will give you guys a full break-down. In general the hotel is in a great location. The hotel itself was surprisingly very nice and elegant. There was no waiting for the elevators (we went to visit family at other hotels and there are literal queues just to use the elevators). Location - pretty good. If you cut across Anjum Hotel, I'd say it's roughly around a 5-8 minute walk to the Haram. It is an uphill walk for about 2 minutes so for elderly people it might be a struggle. For anyone that is healthy and fit, it should be no problem at all. Room - very well kept and very clean. On arrival they upgraded us to a king-size room which was very nice. We did not get the breakfast package so no comment on that. I'd definitely recommend and would probably use this hotel again. Our flight landed in the morning we reached 1130am at the property on 6th march 2024 registration was so easy thanks to Mr Turkey it was my first time in Makkah for special occasion and I got very nice room (Masjid Al Haram view), A beautiful hotel with great service. The staffs from concierge to front office was friendly and more than willing to answer all questions and provide information. Room was super clean when we get in, bed was super comfortable, internet was super-fast, and a nice view Recommended for family & friends and solo Travellers, i would like to give shout out again to Mr turkey front office staff he was so helpful and friendly smile
