Hotels near San Carlos Seminary, Makati

The hotel is nice. I love their pool and massage and onsen. The service is also pretty good. I didn’t really like the food though. But overall, we really liked our stay here. We would recommend it to our friends.

Y2 Residence is a bit along Makati Avenue (about 2.5 kms from Greenbelt Malls area) and around the corner from Century City Mall. There are numerous small restaurants within easy walking distance along Makati Ave and surrounds. We stayed two nights at Y2 Residence Hotel on our way from Palawan and prior to departing the Philippines and wish we had found it earlier. On arrival were were immediately made feel welcome , met on the road and our bags taken and carried in for us. (We had stayed in a number of places in the Philippines on this trip and our previous far more expensive where this did not occur). Check in was seamless, Y2 offers an online check in however we prefer face to face. Our room a One Bedroom Deluxe Suite on the ninth flooor, while not large was easily spacious enough for the two of us. A two seater lounge, a single chair with coffee table. A small dining table and a kitchenette large enough to cook in if you wanted. The bedroom was small with one bedside table on one side wih a cupboard with safe on the other. But really what more was needed. The bathroom is small (narrow) however had everything in it including an intantatious hot water system that provided hot water quickly. Even though we faced the main entrance and a building site was adjacent to us we were not disturbed by noise. However this may change as building increases. The view from the rooftop pool and bar area are worth the extremely slow lift up and down then walk up the flight of stairs, particularly as one lift was out of service while we were there making it even slower to get to any floor/ foyer. The lift was the most frustrating thing with our stay. The pool area and surrounds are not large and would if busy you would be lucky to find somewhere to sit, however while we were there we had not problems with this. As stated the view across the city is spectacular, take a few minutes to soak it in. Pros Excellent value for money Very good service, particularly the young trainees. My first trip to MNL loved the central location with greenery around, the staff all went out of their way to please us. Minor issues with tv remote control were quickly resolved. My only side comment is that the property could do more for the environment by: putting some solar panels on the roof, filtering the chimney smoke coming out, on roof. Also in this day and age plastic pet bottles could easily be replace by local glass bottles and a small sign in the room asking guests to place towels in bathtub in case they shoul be laundered is something we all appreciate - our towels were changed daily- I forgot to make a sign for housekeeping team! But overall wonderful experience your lobby is fabulous and what a vibe anytime congratulations ! We will be back certainly! Robert & Busaba from Phuket.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and the staff's warm hospitality made it memorable. Unfortunately, my room faced a building that blocked the city view and the bath gel bottle in my shower room was empty. . I look forward to returning and experiencing the city view next time.

We had an excellent stay. Other than a slight hiccup in the coffee served, everything was perfect at the Horizon lounge; foods were all fresh and yummy. Check in staff were very accommodating. All staff right from the hotel lobby up to the room floor and club lounge were smiling eagerly offering assistance. Deluxe Suite was scot-free as it looked newly renovated. My wife delightfully enjoyed the L’ocitane toiletries. Really worth every penny paid in this staycation before 2023 ends. Looking forward to booking a stay again in a Shangrila hotel.

location is just conducive for business and chilling after food varied, well prepared and staff at hand to recommend what’s new it has a gym and a pool but since there’s a storm today, wasn’t able to enjoy it the welcoming ambiance makes you wish to come back again and again

This is my first time to stay in New World Hotel and all I can say is that it’s perfect if you have plans to go around Greenbelt and Glorietta. Greebelt 3 is literally just a street away. Room amenities are a bit dated, and you can see that the one mirror is already dirty but all in all it did not affect the quality of my stay. Bed is great, room is spacious and the staff are all kind, welcoming and always greets you with a smile.

The hotel is very accommodating and the staff are kind Amenities are superb and the room is spacious and clean. Appreciate the effort of one of the guest services named Jena who assisted us to access the pool since it was closed due to bad weather. The overall experience is fantastic and awesome. Will definitely comeback

Except for the hotel transfer which was a catastrophe, we can recommend this hotel. We were staying in a room with a separate bed and living room. We almost did not go outside for lunch and dinner. Mistro on the 35th floor offered superb views and nice dishes except few we did not really like (maybe different taste). The staff, starting from cleaning ladies to the waitresses and managers are friendly and really caring about their services. We can recommend this hotel compared to Hilton where we had bad experiences and Seda Residence is offering more value than Hilton.
