Y2 Residence is a bit along Makati Avenue (about 2.5 kms from Greenbelt Malls area) and around the corner from Century City Mall. There are numerous small restaurants within easy walking distance along Makati Ave and surrounds. We stayed two nights at Y2 Residence Hotel on our way from Palawan and prior to departing the Philippines and wish we had found it earlier. On arrival were were immediately made feel welcome , met on the road and our bags taken and carried in for us. (We had stayed in a number of places in the Philippines on this trip and our previous far more expensive where this did not occur). Check in was seamless, Y2 offers an online check in however we prefer face to face. Our room a One Bedroom Deluxe Suite on the ninth flooor, while not large was easily spacious enough for the two of us. A two seater lounge, a single chair with coffee table. A small dining table and a kitchenette large enough to cook in if you wanted. The bedroom was small with one bedside table on one side wih a cupboard with safe on the other. But really what more was needed. The bathroom is small (narrow) however had everything in it including an intantatious hot water system that provided hot water quickly. Even though we faced the main entrance and a building site was adjacent to us we were not disturbed by noise. However this may change as building increases. The view from the rooftop pool and bar area are worth the extremely slow lift up and down then walk up the flight of stairs, particularly as one lift was out of service while we were there making it even slower to get to any floor/ foyer. The lift was the most frustrating thing with our stay. The pool area and surrounds are not large and would if busy you would be lucky to find somewhere to sit, however while we were there we had not problems with this. As stated the view across the city is spectacular, take a few minutes to soak it in. Pros Excellent value for money Very good service, particularly the young trainees. Clean and comfortable room Rooftop bar and pool area with amazing views. Close to some incredibly food Good breakfast Cons Very slow lift system

The hotel is nice. I love their pool and massage and onsen. The service is also pretty good. I didn’t really like the food though. But overall, we really liked our stay here. We would recommend it to our friends.

Of course! Here’s a sample review: I recently stayed at Grand Valero Suites and had a wonderful experience. Their staffs were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. My room was spacious, spotless, and well-appointed, with comfortable bedding that made for a restful sleep. The amenities were top-notch and exceeded my expectations. The hotel’s location was ideal, providing easy access to Makati City’s bar, shopping centre and parks Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! My first trip to MNL loved the central location with greenery around, the staff all went out of their way to please us. Minor issues with tv remote control were quickly resolved. My only side comment is that the property could do more for the environment by: putting some solar panels on the roof, filtering the chimney smoke coming out, on roof. Also in this day and age plastic pet bottles could easily be replace by local glass bottles and a small sign in the room asking guests to place towels in bathtub in case they shoul be laundered is something we all appreciate - our towels were changed daily- I forgot to make a sign for housekeeping team! But overall wonderful experience your lobby is fabulous and what a vibe anytime congratulations ! We will be back certainly! Robert & Busaba from Phuket.

The hotel is very accommodating and the staff are kind Amenities are superb and the room is spacious and clean. Appreciate the effort of one of the guest services named Jena who assisted us to access the pool since it was closed due to bad weather. The overall experience is fantastic and awesome. Except for the hotel transfer which was a catastrophe, we can recommend this hotel. We were staying in a room with a separate bed and living room. We almost did not go outside for lunch and dinner. Mistro on the 35th floor offered superb views and nice dishes except few we did not really like (maybe different taste). The staff, starting from cleaning ladies to the waitresses and managers are friendly and really caring about their services. We can recommend this hotel compared to Hilton where we had bad experiences and Seda Residence is offering more value than Hilton.

We love coming back here because of the prime location and accessibility to everything. We were surprised when one of the Bellman remembers us since our last stay was in January 2024. I just hope that the hotel management will reiterate the staffs to greet the quests no matter who it is what they are wearing. One thing it feels a bit off for me was only once in a blue moon you get a greeting from the staff around especially at the breakfast. Genuine warm hospitality is the best key to make your guest feel special and comfortable. But overall it’s still a good stay. We truly appreciate the handwritten card from the GM. Loved our experience at MDR ❤️ Booked an overnight stay with my son and requested a SIMPLE surprise for him at the room, and yes, THEY MADE IT HAPPEN without confirming nor declining my request. LOVED THE INDOOR POOL because it’s only 4ft and it’s the perfect depth for him without me worrying cos I did not swim 😄 Breakfast was GREAT! We chose the continental bfast buffet but I think they have a filipino buffet also at the 4th floor. LOVED the choices too. Staff were VERY accommodating, polite and friendly. There was a power interruption at 10am until check out but it was fine.

The hotel location was great! Infront is greenbelt and walking distance from Glorietta. Everything is within easy access. The food in the hotel was varied. We went for the buffet dinner and breakfast the next day. We enjoyed our stay.❤️

Food was excellent, service also excellent, room are clean only the pillows are very soft , bed is perfect , location is close to the shops , also the people are very accomodating n friendly
