El hotel está frente a la playa, la cual está espectacular. El costo es un poco alto para las instalaciones que cuenta, ya que le hace falta Mantenimiento, sus blancos son viejos.
La atención del personal que labora ahí es excelente, es lo que salva al hotel

Ha sido un privilegio estar en El Fuerte, por tener una vista del mar azul, desde nuestra habitación y caminar solo unos pasos para disfrutar su delicia. El hotel es muy cómodo y tranquilo. Estamos agradecidos por tantas atenciones. Volveremos!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I cannot emphasize enough how disappointed I am with the entire experience. The photos online are extremely misleading and do not represent the actual state of the property. We booked this hotel because it was advertised as a three-star, but I can assure you, it couldn’t be further from the truth.
To start with, nothing worked in our room. The TV was completely useless, and the internet was nonexistent. We reached out for assistance multiple times, but despite our efforts, no one was available to help us. It was incredibly frustrating to be ignored, especially when you're paying for a service that is clearly not being delivered.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. If I could give it zero stars, I absolutely would. There are plenty of other options out there—do yourself a favor and steer clear of this one.

Buena opción en Mahahual
El hotel tiene muy buena ubicación, que tenga estacionamiento techado es una ventaja importante (aunque es uy pequeño), esta en muy buenas condiciones sin ser excelentes, cumple con lo necesario y tiene varios "plus" como tener un garrafón de agua nuevo en la habitación eso lo agradecimos muchísimo, el único inconveniente (que no debería serlo) es que el restaurante es independiente al hotel, entonces lo mencionan para todo lo que se quiere hacer entre Restaurante-Hotel, el club de playa cumple también con lo necesario.

Sin duda me volvería a hospedar en El Fuerte
Muy buena ubicación, la playa limpia sin sargazo, el club de playa muy cómodo, ambiente familiar, muy amables los meseros, precios de los alimentos y bebidas buenos.
La habitación súper limpia y confortable.
El chico de la recepción especialmente amable, en realidad todo el personal muy amable.
Estacionamiento techado
Los peros: muy larga la espera al ordenar alimentos en la zona de restaurante.
