Hotels in Lavapies, Madrid

The place was spotlessly clean; even the closets were immaculate. All essential amenities were provided, including a washing machine and a dishwasher. The suite itself was incredibly comfortable and spacious, boasting six balconies in total – three in the living room, two in one bedroom, and one in the other. Despite being in a bustling city center, the soundproofing was excellent. Both adults and children unanimously declared it the most satisfying hotel they've ever stayed in! Plus, it's incredibly convenient: located right by Metro Art Station, the hotel's main entrance is literally just a ten-step walk from the subway exit!

The location was great. The receptionist, Alfonso, was very friendly and helpful. He provided information. We were able to leave our luggage until a convenient time. The neighborhood seemed a bit creepy... but nothing was too good. I'll definitely recommend it. The cleanliness was excellent. And the air conditioning really came in handy.

I would have wanted to say 10/10 in fact until the last minute it was so but my transport goes out at 6 pm and there is no one at reception at that time and the door was blocked (rotated) Without the possibility of going out with card or button ..... The Lord of Uber helped me force the door to get out right when the police told us we could do it, we call all the phones we had from the hotel and no one answered. I think if they put out autonomous should consider having a security guard at that time or a normal type emergency access because I was going to search the train but imagine if there was a real incense or emergency ...... that needs to improve it absolutely already

Great room!! It was not at the main hotel, three minute walk around the corner. So worth it, balcony and huge rooms. Only thing was breakfast is very average for Spanish standards. It’s fine and plenty of options, but we could have been in the UK.

Very clean and tidy. It was very comfortable to use. The quality of breakfast (one pastry and one drink) was a little disappointing, but considering the overall experience and price, I think it was great value.

Room in the centre of Madrid. Perfect for anyone. I used it to go watch a football game. Perfect for the price. Can't go wrong here for what you're paying out. Would stay here again

The room was clean and tidy, the soundproofing was good, there was a hair dryer without shower gel slippers, but there were no hotels in Europe. The front desk was very good and all the messages were explained very clearly. When I left, I also sent a chocolate and thank you letter, very sweet.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, with Metro Line 3 right at its doorstep. A large supermarket is conveniently located downstairs, and small shops nearby offer cheap fruit. Atocha train station, Madrid's busiest, is only a 10-15 minute walk away. The hotel itself is relatively new, though the beds are a bit narrow and the bathroom felt slightly cramped. The Western-style breakfast includes fruit, coffee, and yogurt, but no vegetables. Overall, it's a decent option, especially considering hotels in Madrid tend to be quite expensive.

Our stay at Hard Rock was really pleasant! The staff were really helpful and accommodating, ready to answer all our questions and provide recommendations. Special shout to Alejandro and Alberto at the front desk, and also Adrian who took care of our luggages. There are two bars, one in the lobby and one on the rooftop. Drinks are good. We did not have breakfast in the hotel so we can’t comment on that. Room was nice and comfortable, they clean daily. Only thing I didn’t like was the sink was outside the bathroom. Not sure why many people complained about the location. There are PLENTY of cafes, bars, and restaurants within walking distance and all frequented by locals. It’s also just a couple of stops away from Sol station. Here’s a tip, the hotel will tell you that the nearest station is Atocha, but we feel like Lavapies station is much closer and easier to walk to. Lavapies is also only one stop from Sol station - which is the centre. For breakfast, there is a Panaderia right across the road. For lunch or dinner, there’s Bar Argumosa and Orisha restaurant. If you’re okay to walk a bit more, there’s a lovely neighbourhood called Anton Martin with many bars and restaurants too.
