Booked an extra bed room with my child. Lived on the 9th floor. It's the top floor. It's quiet, but there are no windows. There are only two skylights. It's very convenient to go to the attractions. There is a 001 free bus at the door to the Prado Museum, the train station, the Royal Palace and many nearby attractions. There is no free bottled water. You can only buy it yourself or drink the paid drinks in the refrigerator.

Its location is excellent, so they should take advantage of it and improve it.
Points for improvement:
ODOR - I don't know if it's the curtains or the carpet, but it has a distinct smell of old or damp.
CLEANLINESS - Stained carpet and armchairs. The bathrooms don't look clean at all.
IMAGE - When you return to the hotel lobby, you find all the sheets thrown out to take to the laundry.
ORGANIZATION - They only give you one key.

I thought it was an old, run-down apartment, but it turned out to be quite large. The room is a bit old but well maintained, with everything you need. I stayed on the 6th floor and it was very quiet. The location is very good, very close to the subway station and the old town. I highly recommend this hotel, which is relatively cheap on Gran Vía and in very good condition.

Very positive hotel especially for the location to the main sites of interest and entrance to the subway. My 5 year old daughter was granted free stay including breakfast.
