This stay at NH Madrid Atocha was just average. The biggest advantage of the hotel is its geographical location. It is close to Atocha train station and has very convenient transportation. It is a good choice for travelers who need to take the train.
However, the room comfort was disappointing. First of all, the room was very small, and it was a bit crowded for two people to stay in, and it was difficult to put the luggage. Secondly, there is insufficient lighting in the room. Even with all lights turned on, it still feels dim, affecting the overall living experience. The most troubling issue was the heating. Even when the heating was turned off, there was still heat being discharged into the room, causing the room temperature to be too high. This made sleeping very uncomfortable throughout the night, seriously affecting the quality of rest.
