Wat een super slechte hotel, het stonk enorm de eerste kamer. Toen ik dit aangaf liepen ze niet eens mee om het te checken.
Handdoeken kreeg je pas om de 2-3 dagen en er werd ook niet dagelijks schoongemaakt.
Op foto’s ziet er veel beter uit en groter. Het is een kleine zielige kamer met een slechte bed. Dan nog niet eens te beginnen over de laminaat die helemaal afgebroken is.

A Basic, Dated Hotel with a Touch of Nostalgia
This is a 2 to 2.5-star hotel — very dated, but clean. You get a good old-fashioned physical key instead of a card, and the gumolite flooring gives it a real 90s feel. It definitely feels stuck in time.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was included, though you have to cross the street to a different building to get it, which I found a bit odd — but the stunning views from the bar made up for it.
One downside was the smell in the corridors — not very pleasant. It also got quite loud at night, and I saw some local construction workers staying there, which changed the vibe a little. Overall, it was an okay stay, but I’m not sure I’d return for around €80 per night

The location is perfect, it's a very good experience, Kathe, right in the heart of Madrid, and even more so in the heart of Madrid, on the Gran Vía of Madrid. The service is good, the facilities are also not bad, and the views of the Gran Vía are priceless.
