It’s a great location and staff are good, but the hostel itself is average. Dorm beds have privacy curtains which is great, plus a light, ledge and socket. Shared bathroom facilities are clean and functional. For once, a towel is provided without an additional charge. There is a large communal area, but annoyingly there is no kitchen area. So there are no communal fridges to keep your drinks or food cool in hot weather, and no way to prepare any food. In a hostel of this size, they should have some form of kitchen or refrigerators. Overall it’s a good base to explore for a night or two, but probably not the best for backpackers.

Me he hospedado en el hostal room00 Gran Vía Madrid y ha sido una experiencia de 10. La ubicación es excelente, en plena Gran Vía, cerca de todo: tiendas, bares, restaurantes y los principales puntos turísticos de Madrid. El hostal está impecablemente limpio, se nota el cuidado en cada rincón. Las duchas tienen buena presión y siempre agua caliente. La cama era súper cómoda, he dormido como un bebé, algo que no siempre se encuentra cuando uno viaja. El ambiente es tranquilo y moderno, ideal para descansar, pero también hay zonas comunes acogedoras para conocer gente. La decoración es minimalista y con mucho estilo. El staff ha sido encantador, muy amables, cercanos y siempre dispuestos a ayudar con una sonrisa. Desde el primer momento me hicieron sentir bienvenido. También destaco el WiFi rápido, las taquillas seguras y el ambiente general, que transmite buen rollo y confort. En resumen, un lugar al que sin duda volveré. Altamente recomendable para cualquier tipo de viajero. ¡Un 10 absoluto!

Grupo de viaje de estudios con ejemplares modales (nos felicitaron personal del hotel y algunos huéspedes) No se les devuelve la fianza con acusaciones falsas. Parece ser la práctica habitual para sacarse un sobresueldo. No recomiendo el hostel.

The rooms were decent enough until you tried to sleep in which case it’s disgustingly hot. The air con is controlled.by reception and so you need to ask them every time you want to turn it down and if someone from another room goes down to turn it up they whack it up to high instantly so it gets so hot making it almost impossible to sleep, I personally was up at 4am every day because of how disgustingly hot it was.

Great hostel very funky, all the bedrooms are on the second floor, our Dorm was next to the males toilet and shower we could hear the door slamming all night, maybe put a sign on the door that says please close door quietly, comfortable bed and great pillow, breakfast was good. Very good location.

Era un sitio diferente donde nos apetecía estar por la cercanía a todos los lugares de interés de Madrid, bien conectado y con posibilidad de comer y cenar allí, lo que nos ahorraría mucho dinero. Lo más destacable es la amabilidad del personal que allí trabaja. Nosotras reservamos una habitación individual aunque dispone de habitaciones con varias literas y muy bien organizadas. Aunque en principio pueda parecer un sitio ruidoso, nada más lejos de la realidad. La gente súper respetuosa ( mucho más que en hoteles de mayor categoría), y a mi - que ya voy peinando canas- rodearme de gente joven y sana me da la vida. Las zonas comunes: duchas, baños y comedor están limpisimas y cuidadas. Se respira civismo, entre otras cosas por las normas establecidas por la dirección. Nosotras no desayunamos, pero tenían un desayuno a 10€ tipo buffet. Si no queréis gastar tanto, tenéis un supermercado a dos pasos y podéis tomar en una sala el desayuno o la comida/cena. Ojalá yo de joven hubiera tenido un lugar tan acogedor donde quedarme. Es seguro y como ya he dicho antes, muy cívico. Yo no tengo duda y sé que, si vuelvo a Madrid, será mi lugar de referencia porque me sentí como en casa. Si he de escribir algo mejorable sería el aire acondicionado común : no se podía regular desde la habitación así que estaría bien un par de manitas para la noche. Y por lo demás, un diez sin duda. ¡VOLVEREMOS!

Al llegar la chica de recepción me atendió muy amable y me enseñó todo.Tuve que dejar un depósito de 5€ que a la salida se me devolvió. Me tocó una habitación bastante alejada del ascensor por lo que el camino hasta ahí me pareció lejos. La habitación era pequeña pero muy bien aprovechada, aunque al principio me pareció calurosa y con mucho ruido, a la noche no se olló nada y tuve que taparme con la ropa de cama. El baño podía estar más limpio pero coincidí con la chica de la limpieza y lo dejó impoluto, es más el mal uso de los hospedados. En general, muy bien, por la calidad, precio y ubicación repetiría.

Puede que la ubicación sea buena pero no compensa el mal servicio, las malas instalaciones y el pésimo trato del personal. El personal de recepción trato fatal a un grupo de menores en viaje de estudios. Groseros y mal educados. Solicitan fianza en efectivo. Es una trampa. Busca otro hotel, si no quieres "sorpresas"

L'esperienza è stata più che positiva e avevo anche già lasciato una buona recensione purtroppo però, vista la mancanza di un servizio clienti adeguato, mi ritrovo a dover provare ad attirare l'attenzione con questa recensione negativa. Ho soggiornato all'ostello un mese fa ed ho pagato in contanti, la stessa cifra è stata bloccata sulla mia carta di credito come "garanzia", il problema è che al momento questi soldi sono ancora bloccati. Ho provato a contattare l'assistenza tramite email e Instagram ma non ha mai risposto nessuno. Sono estremamente delusa da questa situazione.
