Except for the poor soundproofing, everything is quite good. The front desk clerk was very nice and even helped us call to make a restaurant reservation. The hotel address is also very convenient, close to the main square and many restaurants.

Great place to stay! Clean, centrally located, very close to the Metro, simple and very pleasnt, comfortable room and bed. The refrigerator was a nice detail as was the wifi. My room overlooked the patio, so was quiet. The staff is amazingly gracious and helpful!! I stayed here my last nights after a month in Spain and it was the perfect end to a wonderful trip.

Madrid è piena di hostal, una sorta di B&B con reception h24. Almeno così in questo hostal, posto in zona strategica, a pochi minuti a piedi dalle principali attrazioni della città: Plaza Mayor, Sol, mercato di San Miguel, ecc. ed a 50 m. dalla metropolitana (Linea 1 azzurra). Comodissimo un market all’angolo sempre aperto, anche in piena notte. Camera piuttosto piccola con letto ad una piazza e mezzo; niente armadi ma solo un bastone con alcuni appendini, per cui era un po’ disagevole lasciare gran parte dei vestiti chiusi in valigia. Tuttavia la camera era pulita, dotata di frigobar (non cassaforte), bagno con ottimo set cortesia per ospite. Coccolati da omaggi quali spumante, acqua e dolcetti, rinnovati ogni giorno. Secondo me il costo è un po’ caro rispetto ad analoghe situazioni in Italia (4 notti in due persone a 660 euro), ma questi sono i prezzi in Spagna. Personale molto molto gentile.

Além da ótima localização e bom custo/benefício, o ponto alto foi a qualidade do atendimento dos funcionários, especialmente a Celia, que atendeu a todos os nossos pedidos com rapidez e alegria. Recomendo visitar o Mercado de São Miguel, ao lado da Plaza Mayor.

Centrally located and very clean. They store your luggage until you need to check out. The reception staff is very attentive. Being centrally located, there's some street noise. Some three-star hotels aren't as good as this one. Reception staff are open 24 hours a day.
