Madrid City Center
The lobby closes at 23pm, but we didn’t know because we didn’t receive any communication warning about it (not even a call when it was getting late). Our flight got a 40min delay so we arrived at the hotel at 23h10pm with a lady screaming at us. I don’t understand how can the staff be so rude to the clients (I know 10 minutes after your shift is annoying but I don’t think it justifies the bad reception we got). Then the room was ok. The bed was leaning to the left so we would roll a bit to the left during the night & the pillow was so so so hard and high, impossible to sleep with it. I will just give 2 starts because of the location which is really really good.
AC Hotel Coslada Aeropuerto
4.1/5111 Reviews
Oh goodness where to start.... After a couple of weeks of traveling we were ending our trip with a night at the AC Hotel near the airport for ease of travel the next morning. We arrived and met Carmen, she is AMAZING! Bottom line when my friend made the reservation she made it for October 30th, not October 29th, and the hotel was full. After some mad typing and serious looking on the computer Carmen found us the very last room in the hotel. The room was absolutely gorgeous, well appointed, and really comfortable, very sad we were only able to enjoy it for one evening. DON'T USE THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE!!!! So, the next morning, we used the airport shuttle service, OMG! The shuttle driver the next morning if it was on a rating system the star would have to start with a negative. She was unkind, unhelpful, and REALLY RUDE! Be aware when you are using this service you better do your research and know the specific terminal you are flying out of, not the airline, as she will rain hell down on your head. Thank goodness the staff in the hotel was so wonderful, professional, and terrific, couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend this property.
Novotel Madrid City Las Ventas
4.5/577 Reviews
I recently stayed at this Novotel hotel for a business trip. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was quite disappointing. They asked me to have a seat and promised to assist me shortly. However, if the staff member attending to you is occupied with premium clients, you'll be left forgotten in a corner. It was disheartening to see other guests who arrived after me being served before me. Moreover, the way the queue was managed was problematic since even if another staff member was available, they didn't approach you spontaneously. This was not what I expected from a Novotel. The hotel is shared between two brands: Ibis Styles on the lower floors and Novotel on the higher ones, with a common lobby. Consequently, the hotel felt very family-oriented and noisy, lacking the usual upscale atmosphere associated with Novotel. On a positive note, the room itself was clean, spacious, and adequate. However, the combination of two hotels into one and the underwhelming check-in experience did not impress me. I will not consider staying at this hotel for my future trips to Madrid. Therefore, I cannot recommend it.
Exe Convention Plaza Madrid

The hotel is about ten minutes' drive from the airport. There is a shuttle bus shuttle. Remember to make an appointment in advance. The shuttle driver is very enthusiastic. The room was ok and the bathroom was large. A retro car show in the hotel lobby is great
Axor Barajas
4.3/5105 Reviews
The hotel has airport shuttle service T1-T4, which is very convenient every half an hour. The breakfast is also great, not many varieties but they are fresh, and they are replenished quickly. The only point is that there is no supermarket or restaurant next to the hotel, and the hotel does not provide free drinking water
Pullman Madrid Airport & Feria

We travelled to Madrid to attend a Music concert at IFEMA. The Pullman hotel is an 8 minute taxi drive from the airport and 5 mins by tube which brings one within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is 5 mins walk from IFEMA thus all in all an incredibly suitable for hotel to attend any events at IFEMA. There are also several restaurants within 10-20 mins of the hotel if you don't want to go into city centre for a meal. I have read comments that the Pullman hotel is outdated, possibly yes if this was indeed a 5 * hotel, but honestly, since we did not pay anywhere near 5* hotel prices for our room (and i don't think any of the rooms are priced at 5* level) we didn't expect a swish hotel. However what we did get for our money was a hotel with a attractive upmarket like entrance, a comfortable room, which was clean and serviced daily. The air conditioner was a tad bit on the noisy side, but not such that we could not sleep at night. On the down side, just two things, there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room, and the restaurant was closed on the one evening that we were there. Otherwise we would definitely stay again in we were looking for a hotel close to the IFEMA.
