Super 8 by Wyndham Madison South

Good value for the money! The hotel felt a bit old, but the room has everything you need and breakfast is convenient. The bed is comfortable, but if you have neck issues, definitely bring your own pillow. The pool is a plus and good place to relax. The staffs were friendly and helpful, and the location is great!

This hotel was so clean and friendly. I honestly hate we had to check out and go home. We needed an extra hour for checkout and it wasn’t a problem at all. Thank you for a wonderful peaceful stay

Check in was fine. Common areas, glass doors were filthy, Friday night the vending machines were practically empty. Breakfast consisted of plain bagels, toast, small blueberry muffins, waffles, egg paddies and anemic sausages. No microwave. The room- The door of the cabinet containing the Micro and Fridge was sprung, wouldn't close. The HVAC worked fine. The controller for the TV was a disaster. You have to scroll the channels one by one and no channel guide in the room, have to search for the guide on the TV one channel at a time. Paintings were off the wall and placed against the walls on the floor. The bathrooms were being renovated throughout the property and this one they did not connect the bath vent so all the humidity enveloped the room from your shower. When I unpacked at home ALL the clothes in my suitcase were damp. The bed was fine, the towels were fine.

This hotel was just not a nice place to be. Their rates fluctuated from 65$ all the way to $400+ while I was in town for my kids graduation and this was a 2.5 star hotel Id say 1.5 star being generous but whatever. If I had paid that much for what I got in cleanliness alone I would be protesting. You can tell the management cares as much as the cleaners. I say that because it is that obvious this has been going on for a LONG TIME. Very sad excuse for a Wyndham hotel. Skip it & spend the extra 10 for anywhere else.
