Echo Suites Extended Stay by Wyndham Madison

Location: Highly praised for proximity to key landmarks , with easy access to the airport.

I'd not seen an Echo before and the good reviews, low price, and newness prompted me to try it. Unfortunately, it was off to a rocky start. When I arrived to the secured building and entered the lobby there was another man already waiting for an absent desk staff. I waited about 20 minutes and attempted calling the number on the away sign, meanwhile the phone rang and rang. I eventually left and was a moment away from booking a new hotel when we decided to peek inside one more time to find the staff had finally returned. Once I could checkin, the staff was very friendly and efficient. Upon checking into the hotel it became apparent why it was so inexpensive. While new it's very very sparse of amenities. You may have stayed at other extended stay type hotels, which this was, however they had no dishes whatsoever as one example. The only coffee was a maker in the lobby free of any cups to fill with said coffee. The beds were comfortable enough and the rooms were clean. The low price seemed to attract the sort of crowd I usually wouldn't expect at a Wyndham, but it was perfectly safe and quiet. It's a good value with a good location if you don't mind a sparse hostel type of environment. I personally won't be staying at another echo more out of preference than bad experience.

The location was perfect for us. Made a very early hospital appointment convenient and stress free. The room was spacious and clean.
