Embassy Suites by Hilton Madison Downtown

We stayed at this hotel during its first year anniversary. So far this hotel is off to an excellent start. Although this doesn't have the traditional room surrounding atrium or a pool, the hotel makes up for it with the best breakfast out of the three locations from embassy suite brand that we stayed at. Their bacon was the best and their edition of chocolate chip banana bread was moist and delicious. The reception in the evening was also very good. The beds here were great and the sofa bed was decent for a relative that slept on it. These rooms are a bit smaller than a traditional embassy suite and there's not a door separating the two areas but it worked well for our family. We were expecting a tub and shower combination as that's what I interpreted the pictures to show but that's not what we got but it still worked out fine.. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. For parking. You can either pay $40 for the valet or you can drive across the street and park the vehicle in the underground garage yourself. If memory serves correctly, the parking if you do it yourself tops out at $24 a day. The hotel is located within walking distance of the beautiful Wisconsin state capitol and the veterans museum, both of which I strongly recommend. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone and if I ever come back to Madison this will be my first choice.

Great location in downtown Madison. Extremely friendly staff. Rooms are a little bit smaller than the standard 2 room Embassy Suites, but very nice. Nice bar area and great breakfast. Self parking is located across the street (not associated with the hotel. Valet parking is also available. I highly recommend this location.

Perfect and great breakfast

The small snacks/bevvies area right in the lobby was a cute little addition. Hotel was very nice- staff were lovely. Rooms were very clean, quiet. Valet was quick!
