AC Hotel Madison Downtown

Valet experience Olivia at the valet desk was so prompt and super friendly. Made for a great stay. She was awesome and the overall valet experience was better than most if not all. If you stay here you will enjoy Olivia as well. Thank you for the great service.

Our daughter will be attending University of Wisconsin for the next four years. We booked the AC Marriott in Madison for the first time, and thought that this would be our hotel while we visit our daughter over the next four years for multiple weekend events. We flew in late because we were flying from the West Coast. We were put in Room 216. It was like we were put in the dungeon. It only had a sliver of a window, and the entire room was either on top of a laundry room or next to HVAC units because the entire room vibrated all night. It was the worst room that I have ever stayed in a hotel. The next morning I spoke with someone about our room, and she moved us into a better room. I asked if they always put their guests who arrive late in the worst rooms, and she said they try not to, but it can happen. Why was she able to put us in another room at 8:30am? This room was not available the night before? It seems that Marriott needs to do a better job of taking care of their Bonvoy customers. For example, if you know you have a customer who has reserved a room and who stays with Marriott for work, you reserve a room that is acceptable - no matter what time they arrive. Knowing that AC Marriott will not factor this in and we will continue to have late night flights into Madison, it is not worth the risk of staying in a bad room when we get in. We will be staying in other hotels for our visits to Madison... thank you.

We came for dinner at Eno Vino and had a lovely dinner and drinks. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the treatment of staff at this establishment. Our waiter was phenomenal and so was the food. The front desk even greeted us. Came outside to retrieve our car and had a lovely conversation with Ethan and Olivia. We will be back for sure !!!

We originally got booked 3 consecutive even numbered rooms which were inward facing rooms which was not a big deal but a little underwhelming once we saw the views. I went back down to the front desk and asked for 3 rooms with a Capital view. We got almost everything we asked for with the exception of all 3 rooms being together (2 were together)!!! All king beds, all upper floors, we were very pleased with the results!! We also asked for a late check out because our daughter was getting sworn in at the capital and the hotel staff was very accommodating to our needs as well storing our luggage as well until we got done 2 hours later. Olivia at the Valet was also extremely helpful due to our late car pick up because our daughter was dead last in the process but everything was smooth and seamless!! We had such a great stay we would love to come back and stay here just to see more of the city!!!

We just checked in to the hotel and were greeted by the friendliest and most professional young man named Jase - he welcomed us, helped by bringing a luggage cart and valet parked the car. Fantastic first impression to start our week long stay. Thank you, Jase!
