What a gorgeous property. What passionate staff. What amazing food. And gorgeous vistas ! What more can any guest want ? :) The Tajness stood out as well as the eye for detail. The quintessential Taj experience yet again at the Taj Madikeri. This time it was with family that included two small kids. From arrival to the stay, dining and exit - everything was warm, spot-on and guest-centered. We have always been fans of Taj properties, and the experience was again brilliant. The beautiful property aside, the staff, as usual, went above and beyond to ensure a warm, safe and indulgent stay. Mustaque at the front reception was great, ensuring our ease in everything, providing recommendations, answering questions and clarifying many things, including arranging for swimwear that I had forgotten to carry with me - delivered at the hotel in less than 2 hours. Ricky, Apurba, Subho and others in food and dining went overboard in ensuring we had a great culinary experience, customising our food and ensuring we had what we needed for the kids. Guest services were brilliant as well - the 2 staff members who attended to our rooms were very attentive and skilled. There are too many excellent staff members to mention, but as expected from Taj, everyone ensured a super comfortable stay for all of us. Looking forward to the next visit, hopefully in winter when the landscape changes significantly, making the property even more gorgeous than it already is. And the property - it is fabulous and beats pretty every other Taj we have stayed at so far from a beauty and serenity perspective.

Beautiful property with uninterrupted views of lush greenery and open sky.You will need atleast 3 days to fully explore the resort and wide range of activities and facilities it offers. It is nestled amidst the lush evergreen rainforest of Coorg.Because the resort is 4000 Feet above the sea level, the property has pretty steep climbs all over. Come prepared if you don't want to rely too much on buggies(though the buggies are just one call away) and enjoy the walk in and around the property. Despite this we saw many elderly people enjoying their stay there which says a lot about the accessibity and thoughtful service. The Resort offers many outdoor activites like ziplining,paintball, kayaking, Archery, Nature's Trail, Rainforest walk etc and also has an indoor games room. They even have a small herb garden and a strawberry garden looked after by a wonderful lady who walked us around the herb garden talking about all the herbs growing there,we also got to eat strawberries, gooseberries from the garden!! I was taken back to my childhood days when i got to eat mulberries from the trees planted there. Our highlight was the Morning Nature's Trail.The walk was guided by Mr. Pradhan - passionate nature lover who shared his knowledge throughout the walk. The service and hospitality at Taj hotels is one of the best in the world, no wonder it is so highly rated. A heartfelt thanks to Ms. Rebita Singha and Mr. Ginil Varghese who took care of every need and made our stay a memorable one. The only area which need slight improvement is the service at the restaurant .They were slightly short-staffed at the dining area due to which the order was taking longer to arrive.Also the breakfast buffet spread wasn't as extensive as Taj Mumbai or Bhubaneshwar. OVERALL EXPERIENCE IS VERY GOOD, SERVICE, FOOD, STAFF ETC. FEW POINTS TO BE HIGHLIGHTED. 1. SUGGEST FOR GROUP BOOKING ANY SALES PERSON WOULD NEGOTIATE OR DEAL AS DEALING WITH RESERVATION STAFF IS DIFFICULT 2. FOR TRANSPORTAION NEED BETTER VEHICLE. 3. SHOULD HAVE HITEA INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE. IT WOULD INCREASE THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE. 4. KUDOS TO GINIL AND TEAM (FO), UMESH, RAJA AND TEAM(F&B), AND SPECIAL THANKS TO RAKSHIT, WHO HAS ARRANGED THE VEHICLE AT LTHE AST MINUTE.

It was an amazing experience with a mesmerising view.Rain forest walk was the best part of this resort. The communication among the staff members was outstanding Rebita is the gem of the taj, coorg Will visit back Loved it My daughter just loved it Kids friendly place ……. … ….

This is one of the classiest resort with spacious villas. We booked villa with pool and it was easiest one of the biggest villa I have stayed in India and outside. Villas are designed to give you 270 degree view of the property. Mine was overlooking a pond and thick forested area. Pool is temperature controlled allowing you to use it anytime. Having a proper dining table inside villa allows you to have in room dining. Best part is that it is pet friendly. Walk in woods with our pet was amazing. Service is prompt as they go out of their way to address your needs.
