We are in room 440A and B it said 2 kings on the booking however the bed in A is definitely a queen and was a very hard bed with no topper the bed in B was much nicer to sleep on. I asked for a quiet room and wasn’t too bad however if your noise sensitive there is a bar across the road and you are close to the road and the windows are not double glazed so lots of coins gets through. The place feels like it needs a bit of TLC with some block out curtains for an Oaks brand I expected a lot more.
Each room only had sheets and the duvets there are no other blankets so was hard to get termperature right as the kids and I found the duvet too hot and the sheets alone to cold

Apartment chain hotel with convenient parking and a good location, with a kitchen for cooking. A good choice for traveling by car. The bed is good and the bedding is also very clean, it can be seen that it is changed every guest.

The hotel is clean and tidy, the bed is very comfortable to sleep on. It is very close to the sea, and you can see the sea when you open the balcony door. The room has its own refrigerator, microwave oven, bowls and plates and other facilities. If you buy food and put it in the refrigerator directly, you will not be afraid of it being broken. The front desk of the hotel is also very welcoming, and will visit again.

While the hallway is very stark, the room was a lovely calm oasis with nice soft pillows and bed. The shower was hot. There is no real place to put the toiletries on the sink (pretty normal in most hotels) and the wifi worked. There was a little balcony too. I felt safe and comfortable in the suite. It was good value for money.

We recently booked in for 3 nights with the possibility of extended our stay. The first night was horrific is an understatement. The power company was replacing ALL the poles and transformers outside our room from 10pm till 6.30am. Oaks Carlyle would have been advised of the workplan and should have offered a different room or declined to take booking. We were awake all night with the traffic control, trucks, linesmen etc working all night along extremely bright lights shining directly in our room. I raised this in the morning with the front of house who agreed that the noise was unacceptable however there was no sign of apology or compensation for this night. The other two nights were great however we would not stay here again or at the other Oaks chains (which we have done before) due to the lack of ownership for this. We know that there would have been advice given to the extent of works - we were only advised that power would be off from 10pm - not advised of the works or we would not have stayed. Extremely dissapointed

Booked a family room for 4 of us. The separate rooms and bathrooms was great but the apartment also had a working kitchen, laundry and comfortable Lounge dining area. The two balconies gave us, as parents a time out area. Very nice, safe, secure setup.
