Very nice, comfy place with just 13 rooms. Rooms are big and well appointed, only the beds seem to show age. Room service on request only. Service at the restaurant was lovely (Richard) and food was good. Enjoyed some poolside and seaside time only 2:30 hours from Manila

Thank you for the warm welcome of the staff and owners. Everyone has been really helpful. Food is nice and cheap, rooms and resort are well maintained. There is scuba diving to do, don't expect too many divers to do group trips though. I went there with my family and it was great.

Service and quality of experience was outstanding for a boutique resort in the Philippines.
Food was very good, but I felt the menu could use a few more options. For example, it's fine to offer an extravagant ultra-indulgent double sized burger (which tasted good by the way), but sometimes guests with smaller appetites might like a burger, too.

Overall ok. But restaurant closed too early at 830pm. Nothing spectacular but for sure this place is much nicer than it's nearby neighboring resorts. I guess for the price of 12k a night, I just expected much more !!!

There is nothing around the hotel. It is a good place to just sit around.

There are not many people living there, the scenery is good, the swimming pool is a bit dirty, there is no beach, it is full of rocks, it is suitable for quiet couples, there is nothing to play, you can only stay in the room, it is not very convenient to do other things.

By chance we chose to stay this resort, because the one we booked before suddenly cancelled our reservation. We searched the nearby resorts and this one caught our attention. We prefer a small quiet resort, and this resort is really nice. We enjoy the spacious room, the food and the nature. We make use of the balcony on viewing the sunset, and having our coffee. The sea is calm so we are able to do some snorkeling in the early afternoon, followed with a massage right before the dinner. So relaxing!

Stayed here for five nights on a three week tour around the Philippines and Palau. Its a quirky resort based in a very quiet part of the Philippines. If you're looking for partying and nightlife, this isn't the resort for you; you're likely here for the diving anyway. The rooms are large, functional and well appointed with the usual hotel type stuff. No bath in the bathroom, shower only but the bathroom had a modern urban type feeling to it. We had a balcony which was good for sitting on when it rained, which it did, quite a lot. It was a useful space as outside of the pool area and restaurant there weren't really any public areas to relax in. The restaurant was OK, nicely appointed, but food was average, sometimes slow (55mins for a pizza one lunchtime), closed during the afternoon for a few hours, and shut completely at 20:30. Had a sort of bar area in there but not a relaxing place for a drink, rather an afterthought in the design. Good views over the bay, but no outdoor dining spaces, at least when we were there. Pool area OK, though some of the sunloungers sagged in the middle, no umbrellas and the pool was cloudy (dirty). It was 'hoovered' every other day but there filter/ pump wasn't working when we were staying so after swimming in it once it wasn't somewhere we felt we wanted to use again. Dive shop OK - we dived for three of the five days on a local private boat and local DM to guide us. The diving was good and can recommend the local reefs and some of the muck diving. Upon return to the resort at lunchtime though there really is nothing to do. Its not a busy area, or local town - there are other hotels you can visit for dinner, and some local stores/ restaurants but its quiet. We would chill by the pool, or our balcony. There's a sofa in reception (opposite the reception - hardly relaxing), or downstairs under the reception, but the hotel stores the sunbed cushions and beanbags here so again not very inviting. There's a 'gym' up a small spiral staircase with an old treadmill and bike, some weights, and a 'spa' which is more like a massage room - we used neither of these so can't comment on how good they were. Beach area not realy usable - no beds here and the beach had litter on it - not from the hotel but regardless it should have been cleared up. The Hotel's provenance is from when the land was an area that held goats, and in french, this is what this means so a little odd that the two hotel's two remaining goats were kept in a 2mx3m pen in the car park with no means of getting out other than when the straw was changed; felt a little off that they did this. On our first night we were two of eight guests staying, which reduced to two of six and then day we left the hotel only had two guests staying, out of 12 rooms (c.24 capacity), so very quiet if you like that sort of thing, rather dead/ soulless if you don't. Overall an OK stay, but having spent two evenings at the Solitude Acacia for dinner I would personally stay there

Sea front resort that is pet friendly. Serene and the rooms are huge with balcony. They have a restaurant (food is good for the price). I took my dog to the beach. She enjoyed it. The staff are nice. Could’ve been better if they give complimentary drinks upon arrival.

We've been here twice already Oct 2023 and just last Monday. We are really disappointed about the service they provided. We are relaxing and drinking in their pool side every time we need another , We have to call them on the 2nd floor. There is no one at the restaurant. So I decided to buy the bottle instead of shots to avoid calling them again and again, but to my surprise, they are not selling the bottle. It is only sold for shots only 😅. Take note that she opened a new bottle when I started ordering Gin, so I want to buy the bottle to lessen going upstairs to call them. I asked them why not selling to whole bottle I am willing to pay for it and the girl said we will message the owner. The whole day had passed, but there was no update. Dinner time we are having fun while drinking bottle of wine at 8:30 the server said we have to leave because they are closing the restaurant 😅 I do understand that they have operations hours but he can say it nicely. And to think that we are willing to spend money, they should take advantage of that since the business was slow since July. I ordered salted wings after 30 minute's still not cooked because the lady needs to call the cook 😅 we feel disappointed about our experience there. Bur the room, the beach was great only the service they need to improve.

Though we are coming in between the 2 storms/typhoons, we are so lucky to enjoy the best period of stay with very calm sea and blue sky. We aim to have some scuba dives and snorkeling, and we finally make the plan happen! The resort has more guests in the weekends, and the good thing is that with limited number of rooms, the resort is still quite spacious for us to have a pool bench for the sunset watch! The 2 staff at the reception are very accommodating and our requests are attended immediately! Food taste fits us very well! We like both the Asian and Western choices of food. Mango and pineapples juice are our favorite! Happy to recommend this resort to our relatives and friends who prefer a small and stylish resort in a tropical country!
