It was a good place for a quick vacation. Food was great but a little expensive. Room was clean but the BR/CR were a little disappointing as to cleanliness. But overall, I would return — and recommend Caimito.

Van 7 juni 2025 tot 17 juni 2025 verbleven we opnieuw in het prachtige Caimito Beach Hotel, intussen voor de vierde keer. En telkens opnieuw voelt het als thuiskomen. De eigenaar begroet mij telkens met een warme glimlach en de woorden “Welcome back, my friend” – een klein gebaar, maar o zo waardevol. Alles klopt aan dit hotel: de kamers zijn kraaknet, het personeel is buitengewoon vriendelijk en behulpzaam (+++ waardering!), en de ligging aan het strand is ideaal voor wie op zoek is naar rust, natuur en gastvrijheid. Wat zijn we blij dat we deze verborgen parel in Maasin ontdekt hebben. Ik woon zelf deels in België en deels in General Trias, Cavite, en mijn schoonfamilie woont in Hilongos (Leyte). We kennen de regio dus goed, en ik kan met zekerheid zeggen: dit hotel behoort tot de absolute top in Zuid-Leyte. Extra tip: het restaurant is uitstekend! Je kunt zowel binnen als gezellig op het terras eten. Alles wordt vers bereid en met liefde geserveerd. Zeker de spaghetti bolognaise proberen – die is gewoonweg +++! Voor mij is dit verblijf telkens weer een 11 op 10. Aan iedereen die Zuid-Leyte bezoekt: zoek niet verder – dit is dé plek waar je wil verblijven.

I have stayed at this great hotel several times over the years with my wife and kids . We always book two rooms so the kids get their own room next to ours . I have travelled a lot in the Philippines and Thailand , I have to say this is the safest hotel I have ever stayed at . Beautiful rooms , beautiful grounds , fantastic views , great food and a fantastic pool that is accessible 24/7 (remember to keep the noise down) . The staff are immaculately turned out , polite , friendly and professional. WiFi is excellent. The owners Pascal and his lovely wife Eden are the best hosts ever . We have already booked for Christmas and New Year there and we can't wait . Over all the place is so relaxing , we always feel like we are at home when we come here . The city of Maasin is about 5km away , public transport is cheap and easy to use . Although this is a beach hotel the beach is quite small but there are loads of sandy beaches nearby . I hope my honest (if rather long) review helps . Thanks for reading M .

Absolutely! "Staying at this beach hotel in Southern Leyte was an absolute dream come true! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The location is simply breathtaking, with pristine white sand beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters right at our doorstep. The rooms were luxurious and impeccably clean, offering stunning views of the ocean. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, catering to our every need with enthusiasm and professionalism. The food at the hotel's restaurant was divine, with a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from, including fresh seafood caught right from the local waters. Whether lounging by the infinity pool or exploring the nearby attractions, every moment spent at this beach hotel was truly unforgettable. I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone seeking a paradise getaway in the Philippines!"
