Hotels in 1st arr.Hotel de Ville, Lyon

Great location maxed with a roof top bar, giving view to all the major sites of the city. Room is cosy, but a bit stuffy during sunny days  (air conditioning was blocked at this time of the year)

The hotel has a good environment and is located on a high mountain. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery, but it will be tiring to walk on the hillside. Everything else is very satisfactory.

I liked the service. Great bar and delicious breakfast. The relaxation area on the ground floor is small, but it relieves fatigue well after walking around the city.

The best thing is to have free parking spaces, which are really rare in the city, but the parking spaces are first come first served. If you arrive in the evening, it is basically impossible, and it is recommended to stop the car and don't drive. It is not convenient to drive in the city. The room is small and the design is not very reasonable. The 7-day standard is still equipped with a sink in the corridor. It is better to use the space in the area near the bed. The service is reduced because there is always no one at the front desk. I want to check out twice and can't find anyone. I really don't want to take the time to put the key at the front desk. The location is convenient, next to the literary and art neighborhood, in fact, the feeling of the cement forest, in a building and patio that is abandoned and actually lives, there are many graffiti, standing in the parking lot can see the river opposite.

Расположение отеля идеальное для прогулок по Лиону. Отель красивый, номер чистый, кровать очень удобная, бельё белоснежное, качественное. Минусы: в номере не хватало свежего воздуха и прохлады, вид из окон во внутренний двор-колодец, окна очень ветхие, старинные. Несмотря на то, что отель для некурящих, по вечерам в окно шёл сигаретный дым, что неприятно. В нашем номере не было кондиционера, стоял большой вентилятор. При заселении требуется залог 100€ (или данные кредитной карты), который возвращается при отъезде (если ничего не сломать, хах).

My stay is in Feb 2025 so the weather is okay and you will not felt so stuffy in the room. I can't imagine if you are staying during summer and even have AC because of the design of the capsules, it maybe be hot and stuffy. I also cannot imagine those who are very tall and will have difficulty accessing the capsules.(U will not be able to sit upright)..All in all is okay or a night or two from the price point. You have to put on your own bedsheet.

Easy access to Part Dieu train station, and walking distance to the old town and other major sightseeing spots. The only thing is the cleanliness wasn’t great. There was mysterious flakes and dusts on the nightstands and floor when I arrived into the room for the first time. Also the sound insulation isn’t the best in this oldish building, so each morning be aware of the doors shutting and elevator door closing.

Perfect location for visiting Lyon, restaurants and nearby transport. Fast valet parking. Beautiful interior decoration, silent rooms. The staff is friendly and takes care of requests.
