Very nice hotel. Two very short blocks from train, metro and tram. Very clean and very honest staff. On the first day I left my passport and a sum of money on a chair in the room by accident and was gone all day. When I returned the room was cleaned and my documents and money were still there.

The hotel is in a great location, facing the river, with a nice view and is big enough. The handle of the wardrobe in the room is the head of the ”Little Prince”, and there are also pictures of the Little Prince and the author on the wall, which is nice~

I was very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, we encountered a few not very friendly staff at the reception. They didn’t do anything in particular that we would consider rude - but they just had a cold attitude. Some of their staff seem to have treated other guests a little differently for instance walking them to the lift and giving them more information about the hotel. This really impacted our experience at the hotel. However, I must say many of their staff were amazing, just a handful that were very cold and dismissive and this is not the level of hospitality you would expect from such a renowned hotel. The room also looked and felt quite different than what is shown on trip.com and their official website. I would still highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Lyon!

We stayed at a double room in the Sofitel in Lyon for a total of 3 nights in the summer of 2023. The hotel is located just a few streets from the Place Bellecour which is one of the main squares in Lyon. It is also about 5 minutes away from many cafes, bistros and a large supermarket (Monop’) near Place Bellecour. The room itself was a fairly standard double room (approximately 20 square metres). The interior and furnishings of the hotel look a bit dated but they were fine and did not matter in any material way. The minibar is complimentary and it is restocked daily with bottled water (still and sparkling), fruit juice, coca cola, and dried fruits and nuts. The bed was nice and comfortable and the pillows were firm. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning was not very consistent and it would turn off in the middle of the night. It is not an issue if you are staying here in the winter but it made it difficult to sleep at night in the summer. The staff were all very nice and pleasant. The concierge was especially friendly and he helped us to store our bags and arrange for a taxi to the train station on our last day. We paid approximately EUR250 a night and we thought it was worth the price.

The hotel is in a very good location, close to the old town footbridge, and the main attractions are nearby, basically within walking distance. There is a food street around the hotel. The room is apartment-style, with a kitchen, clean and tidy, and the front desk service is enthusiastic.

Newly renovated, no odor in the room, a little smell in the corridor, comfortable room, modern decoration, very fashionable, staff took the initiative to arrange a baby bed, delicious breakfast, met the staff after check-out, the staff took the initiative to greet, very enthusiastic, but recommend booking a room, more favorable

I stayed there for a total of 7 nights, but extended my stay several times. The location is such that it's best not to go out at night, but it's close to the station and you can walk there from the bus terminal. I'd like to use it again.

The hotel is in a great location, with tram lines 1 and 2 right outside the door, and direct access to the train station, making it very convenient to go to other places. The room is large, with complete facilities, a super large bathroom, and heating (very convenient if you want to wash socks or underwear), and it is relatively quiet at night. There are relatively few people nearby, but it is very close to the commercial district and public transportation is also very convenient.

This hotel is located in the 6th arrondissement of Lyon, very quiet. There are two rivers next to it, and the surrounding buildings are also very distinctive. It is not a very modern hotel. There are five floors in total, and there is only one small elevator. Remember to bring toothpaste and toothbrush.

The hotel is very cost-effective and is located next to the Jacobin Square. The surrounding environment is good, and we were upgraded to a room with a balcony on the rooftop. The room has two floor-to-ceiling windows that lead to the balcony. It's great!
