The location is good, very close to public transportation. Staff are very friendly, especially Muhammed is very hospitable and friendly. Good thing about Meininger hotels is that there is a shared kitchen and washing machine that guests can use it. the pillows in the rooms can be improved, this is not only about this branch. the pillows in Meininger hotels are not the best ones.

The bartenders are very kind and friendly! Bar has a quite nice atmosphere 😁 Billiard table and kicker add to the fun atmosphere. Prices are reasonable and we had a great time there. The decoration with neon lights and the music selection are quite cool and bring to it a very chill vibe.

Très bon hôtel de qualité. Chambre confortable, moderne, et sobre à la fois disposant d'une télé et d'une climatisation. Tout ce qu'il faut pour passer une nuit tranquille. L'hôtel dispose d'un espace bar/snacking, d'une salle petit-déjeuner agreable, d'une bagagerie et d'un petit coin d'attente. Le personnel est sympathique et disponible. Seuls bémols: l'heure du check-in n'a pas été respecté, et le service snacking était moyen car pas de croque-monsieur préparés et les pizzas n'étaient pas qualitatives surtout pour le prix. Malgré tout le séjour était vraiment agréable et le prix de la prestation hôtelière est imbattable. Je recommande vivement !

Das Meininger Hotel in Lyon war als Zwischenstopp bei der Reise gen Süden geplant, dementsprechend stand ehr der Preis als das Hotel im Vordergrund. So kann ich auch maximal behauptet, dass Preis-Leistung ganz in Ordnung ist, das Hotel aber nicht. Ein bisschen Jugendherberge, wirkt ehr Hostel als Hotel. Einrichtung ist okay, Sauberkeit passt. Für Frühstück gibt es genug gute Boulangeries um die Ecke, ich brauche das nicht im Hotel. Es sind mehrere Schulklassen im Hotel, was für Atmosphäre, Geruch und Lautstärke sorgt. Die Lage ist super, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind gleich um die Ecke, so lässt sich Lyon gut erkunden. Die Tiefgarage ist sehr sehr eng, bei einem größeren Auto sollten man vielleicht einfach die gegenüberliegenden nehmen. Dafür kann man das E-Auto umsonst laden, wenn eine der zwei Ladestationen frei ist. Insgesamt ist Preis-Leistung in Ordnung, würde ich für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise wieder machen, sonst auf keinen Fall.

Sometimes looks can be deceptive in a positive way. I chose the hotel mainly because of its location in Lyon, which is perfect. Albeit some people have described it as an upmarket hostel, and the decor is somewhat industrial, with some weird colour choices, this is very unfair. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and well worth the extra charge. But, best of all, the staff were helpful and a joy to deal with. I have paid a lot more for something with a lot more stars and received a lot worse. I'd happily stay here again.

Spacious room, comfortable beds and a good size bathroom with a decent shower. Breakfast is well priced with good varieties. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location, very close to two tram lines T1 & T2. Lots of places to eat nearby.

Great value for money. Really helpful staff at the 24-hours reception. Costanza did everything she could to make our stay excellent. The neighbor has plenty of place for eat and drink. The hotel is close to railway, but windows are soundproof.
