A hotel that needs renovation
If you book this hotel, you must know, that the rooms are very small, the hotel is old and noicy. We had a lot of wind outside and windows and doors were making notice. The service and the cleaning was good and the hotel is close to Lyon center....

CHARGED MY CARD TWICE FOR MY STAY! DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL No response to emails asking for my refund. I've had to raise a claim with my credit card provider to get my money back from these thieves! The room was also old, tired and decrepit and in desperate need of modernizing. The shower didn't even work. No facilities for a cup of coffee, no breakfast room available. No on-site parking - they have a small lock-up about 1/4 mile walk away for 10 euros a night. Dreadful in every respect. We won't ever return.

Good end results!
When I arrived at the hotel, there was no one at the front desk. I rang the bell and waited a long time. After ringing many times, an attendant came to the desk (about 30 minutes later). He seemed unprepared for me, and left to find a room. After 15 minutes and me ringing the bell several times again, he came back. He was very nice, appologetic, and assigned a "room with a view". This was on the 4th floor with no elevator. The room's window openned to the view of a wall, and it was extremely hot with no air-conditioning. I went down stairs to request a refund. The attendant said he'd reassign me to the best room. This was on the 5rh floor, and it really was nice. The window opened to a balcony with a view over looking the city. It had a fan and the room cooled off quickly. Even though the service was slow, at first, the end results were a comfortable clean room located close to transportation and a 15 minute walk to Parc de la Tete d'Or. I would stay in that room again. The value for the room was also good.

This is a solid property that is in a safe and fun part of town. It is walking distance to the museum. The staff is super friendly, courteous, and knowledgable.
