The service is very good! Very meticulous and patient! The room is also very clean, a boutique hotel worth experiencing! It is rare to find such good service in Europe, much better than most international five-star hotels!

Indigne d’un 5 étoiles pas de bouteille d’eau ni de verres pour vous accueillir salle de bain ne comportant pas de mouchoirs et un minimum d’articles d’hygiène idem dans la douche, dans les wc papier de toilette largement entamé et vraiment choquant les bouchons des lavabos étaient sales.

Nous avons réservé une formule Brunch + accès au SPA + 1h de massage. L’accueil est sympathique et le brunch copieux. Tout est bon,mais alors que certains produits sont frais et travaillés la qualité d´autres est plutôt décevante…. Une fois le brunch terminé on nous conduit aux thermes. Les installations sont très bien, propres et le lieu très agréable. Les masseuses sont ensuite venus nous chercher et nous on laisse le choix entre différents types de massage. Nous avons appréciés les massages et le verre d eau proposé ensuite (servit dans des verres en carton, c’est un détail mais cela dénote un peu dans un 5*) En bref nous avons passé un agréable moment, toutefois des petits détails font que nous trouvons le prix est un peu trop élevé pour la prestation et cela nous incitera plutôt à tester d’autres établissements plutôt que de revenir

I have never enjoyed my stay at a hotel as much as I did at Villa Maia. The concierge team greeted me with a smile and they knew my name the moment I walked in. They suggested restaurant recommendations and were able to get me into a highly coveted restaurant a few hours later on the same day. Because I booked through amex FHR collection, they gave me $100 USD dining credit which I used for two amazing meals at the bar. They upgraded me to a city view room overlooking the beautiful Vieux Lyon and allowed me to check in early and check out late. The spa facilities were also an excellent way to relax after a long day out. It's located just a short 10-15min uphill walk from the Vieux Lyon; centrally located yet away from the bustle. I loved how quiet and peaceful the hotel is and how attentive yet unobtrusive the hotel staff are. Highly recommend for everyone visiting Lyon!

From arrival to departure, the team at the hotel was nothing but friendly, warm, engaging and professional on the best level of hospitality. Villa Maia is a shining example why Leading Hotels of the World have some of the very best hotels and resorts in the business in their portfolio. Un énorme MERCI à toute l'équipe qui nous a reçu, aidé et servis depuis notre arrivée, durant tout notre séjour et jusqu’à notre départ de façon chaleureuse, passionée et professionnelle. Votre propriété est magnifique et parfaitement entretenue et nous a offert un écrin de rêve pour découvrir la merveilleuse cité de Lyon. En particulier, vos concierges François et Julien, nous ont non seulement conseillé mais réellement guidé tout au long de notre séjour. Ils nous ont permit de découvrir Lyon, ses églises, ses restaurants et ses recoins plus secrets, comme seuls les tops membres de l’association des « Clefs d’Or » savent le faire.
