Location is great for city shopping. Restaurant is nice and food quality is high. Stayed in a very small room without lake view. People at next building were doing gym and able to look clearly the room without too much privacy. Very noise on traffic due to proximity to the main road if you open windows for fresh air. The bathtub plug is too old and hurt my finger with loose metal chips come off. Recommend to stay only for lake view room during non-peak season. Otherwise, not very cost efficient except you get a big pocket.

Stayed in the Lucerne version of the Grand Budapest Hotel!
It was like traveling through time and staying in the Museum of Life Hotel
The service was very good, and a guy at the front desk looked like Gustav!
The main attractions in the city are within walking distance

Staying by Lake Lucerne, the scenery is pleasant. Every day you can look out the window (the hotel actually provided a high-powered telescope) to the snow-capped mountains and lakes. The room is also suitable and spacious. It is not far from the train station and various attractions. Chocolates are given every night, but the price is really expensive 😄. Everything is very satisfactory.

The terrace overlooking the lake is particularly attractive! I stayed there for a day and thought it was great. I booked another night on the way back, which shows how much I like it!

The service was very good. It was the first time in Switzerland that a hotel gave welcome snacks and free water. When you check in and leave your luggage, they will give you water to take around the city, and they will also give you a guest card.

The hotel has a great view. Downstairs is the shore of Lake Lucerne. However, there is noise from passing ships honking their horns. Don't open the window when eating in the room or you will be kissed by flies.
