The location is excellent. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the city. The interior decoration is very new and very clean. Three people sharing a room may slightly affect sleep. Check-in is very convenient.

Overall, my stay at the Youth Hostel in Luxembourg City was fine but definitely had its ups and downs. Getting there from the train station takes a bit of effort. It’s a bit of a hike on foot, especially with luggage, but once you’re in the general area, there is a bus that can drop you off fairly close by. The hostel itself wasn’t bad. The room was fine for a one-night stay, but the shared bathrooms could’ve been cleaner. They weren’t awful, just not as fresh as you’d hope. Breakfast, unfortunately, was underwhelming. Despite showing up shortly after it started, most of the food was already gone and what was left wasn’t anything to get excited about. That said, the highlight of the stay was definitely the people. I met some great fellow travelers and ended up spending the day exploring Luxembourg with them. The social aspect really salvaged the experience and made the stay worthwhile in the end. If you’re just staying a night or two and don’t mind the basics, it does the job but go in with realistic expectations.

I booked this hostel solely to save money but received far more value than expected. The location is remarkably tranquil and quaint, yet conveniently served by road and rail public transport. It's fantastic for hiking and photography enthusiasts. The building is well-maintained and exceptionally clean for a hostel. The staff are friendly, professional, and readily available to help. The restaurant offers good, nutritious food catering to various dietary needs, including standard, vegetarian, and vegan options, all at reasonable prices. The restaurant staff are also helpful, friendly and always willing to assist. Understandably, food choices are limited. The inclusive breakfast is modest but of good quality. I did not use the hostel's Wi-Fi as I have unlimited Europe roaming service with a mobile phone subscription. The rooms are super cleaned with ensuite shared toilet and bathroom. The only minor shortcomings were the absence of hand sanitiser gel anywhere at the hostel and the lack of hand wash gel in the toilets. Nevertheless, I rate this hostel a perfect 10 out of 10. I highly recommend it!

The pillows are the worst I have ever experienced but the rest of the stay was great - bit hot in the rooms and could do with privacy curtain to the bottom bunk. Staff really helpful, friendly and welcoming. The Melting Pot cafeteria offers excellent simple, nourishing food. Breakfast self service very good, menus offer good value. Loation is a little tricky to find as its down at the bottom of the valley located from many different directions by winding roads so easy to get lost.

O local mais barato provavelmente do Luxemburgo. Ainda oferece o pequeno almoço embora com opções reduzidas, mas acho que oferece o mínimo necessário. Poderia ter mais opções (tipo ovos) que penso que não necessitariam de encarecer mais a estadia. A localização apesar de ligeiramente afastada do centro é colmatada pelo sossego e beleza do local. Fica junto ao rio e a paisagem é fantástica. Possui pontos de reciclagem, máquinas com abastecimento de snacks e bebidas quentes. A limpeza de todos os espaços é óptima. A simpatia dos funcionários é ótima. A proporção dos quartos é muito boa e dispõe de lavatório e duche no quarto. Possui tomadas junto à cama o facilita tudo.

Mon séjour au Youth Hostel Luxembourg a été une belle surprise ! L’auberge est idéalement située, à quelques minutes du centre-ville historique et des principales attractions touristiques. C’est un point de départ parfait pour découvrir Luxembourg tout en profitant d’un hébergement à prix abordable. Les chambres sont simples mais propres et confortables, avec tout ce dont on a besoin pour passer un bon séjour. Le personnel est incroyablement sympathique et toujours prêt à offrir des conseils pour explorer la ville. J’ai particulièrement apprécié l’ambiance conviviale de l’auberge, où l’on rencontre des voyageurs de tous horizons. Le petit déjeuner, inclus dans le prix, est copieux et de bonne qualité, un vrai plus pour bien démarrer la journée. L’auberge dispose également d’espaces communs agréables pour se détendre après une journée de visite, et la connexion Wi-Fi est très bonne. Si vous cherchez un hébergement à Luxembourg qui allie confort, emplacement central et atmosphère conviviale, je recommande vivement le Youth Hostel Luxembourg. C’est une option parfaite pour les voyageurs à petit budget, les familles ou les groupes

Excellent location within minutes walk distance to sights. On arrival staff was friendly and helpful. I had a good rest as the dorm was quiet and clean, lockers inside the dorm, good wifi, clean facilities, very nice outside space with restaurant and bar with good prices, I loved the food, 24/ reception. would stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for good location. No privacy curtains for the beds in the mix dorm, not all beds had plugs near the bed.
