Hotels near Avenue de la Liberté, Luxembourg

Travelled to Luxembourg with two friends, 3 people overall. The location is spectacular, very close to the main station as well as the city center. Just great. The room itself was alright, nothing fancy, generally clean. Towels were provided. No AC, so be aware of that in summer time. The beds were not very long, but if you are below 1.85m you should be fine!

Exit Luxembourg Main Train Station and take the street on the right, as shown in the picture. Don't go the wrong way, I turned left and walked a long way. The location of the hotel is easy to find. The room is also OK, but there is a construction site outside the window, and there are planes flying overhead, which makes a lot of noise. But there are no planes at night. There is nothing wrong with the hotel overall. The front desk staff is very enthusiastic.

The transportation is convenient, with the Luxembourg train station nearby, a Chinese supermarket opposite, and many Chinese restaurants next to it; The room is large and the environment is simple and elegant; The breakfast is rich and the freshly chopped green onion and eggs are very fragrant. The little old man who runs the front desk is very cute, warm and humorous.

The transportation is convenient, the parking lot is a bit far away, and there is a Chinese supermarket opposite. However, there was a power outage at night, so I had to wash up in the dark. It seemed that the water was not hot after the power outage, so I couldn't take a shower.

Location of the hotel was perfect walking distance from main station. The lift was not working during my stay, which was not ideal.

The room is quite small, with a standard single bed. The location is very good, just opposite the train station. The surrounding facilities are complete. The front desk service attitude is average. Luxembourg is very small, so it doesn't really matter where you stay.

This hotel has more pros than cons. Staff very professional. Excellent food for breakfast so pretty pricey at 27 Euro. The rooms look very old fashioned and could do with a bit of touch up but I think that's part of the hotel's charm. I got a single room and it cost me about 98 US Dollars on trip.com's wonderful website. An excellent value for that price even an excellent value for $150 after that find someplace a little newer. Breakfast is really excellent except the eggs were undercooked and the bacon was undercooked and when I asked them to take it back to the kitchen and cook it a little more they would only cook the bacon for me. Maybe in Luxembourg people eat their eggs sweat but no way I could stomach that it would probably make me ill so I skipped the eggs. However the cheese was top notch and the meal was worth 27 Euro if you could eat 27 euro worth of cheese. I would even go so far as to say I would stay here again. The bathroom is a little outdated but charming and had birds and flowers on the tiles. The hotel front desk man acted as a concierge but clearly he had been there for a long time and was very well trained and had very good advice about where to eat and what to see. I like the whole staff and an added asset was the bar downstairs brings you back to many years ago. I was lucky enough to get a balcony in my room and it would be a wonderful idea if I had trouble with somebody to have wine on the balcony and watch the world go by. I will post my view from my balcony. I call this hotel room with a view. The hotel had more more pros than cons and I was happy with my decisions to stay there.

With the discount, it was just under 180 euros. Even though it was a last minute reservation, the service and access were excellent. The building itself is old, but it is clear that it has been well-maintained. However, considering that it would have cost around 220 euros without the discount, I don't think it felt like a good deal.

The room was nice, clean and comfortable, but the entrance to the hotel was really hard to find! The entrance was at the very back, and I dragged my luggage around but ended up at the nursing home next door. The service was average, and I will choose a better hotel next time if I have the chance.
