The hostess was very helpful and helped plan our route before we even started. Following her plan, we had no issues. The weather wasn't ideal on our first two days, with heavy fog, so we didn't get to see the sunrise. However, if the weather is good, the B&B is very close to the best viewpoint at Xiaotianchi. Although we didn't get to see the sunrise, the sea of clouds we saw from the Fourth Peak on the second day when we climbed Wulao Peak was still spectacular, giving the illusion of "the gates of heaven opening." Because it had rained, the water level at San Diequan was quite good. Following the hostess's suggestion, we explored the west route on the first day and climbed Wulao Peak on the second day, descending from the Fourth Peak to San Diequan, and finally descending through the East Gate. This was a much easier trip. Overall, this trip to Lushan was quite enjoyable. High-speed rail and flight tickets to Lushan are currently 50% off. If you purchase a Lushan package ticket, you don't need to buy separate tickets for Xiufeng Peak and Bailu Cave. If you don't have time to purchase tickets in person at the North or South Gate, you can buy your tickets online and refund them at the ticket window during your ascent or descent.

This time, I happened to book two rooms at Youran. They're located next to each other in a separate building with its own courtyard. It's quite secluded and perfect for a family. The breakfast was good, with delicious fried noodles and noodle soup. Dinner was made in the evening after we bought groceries in the afternoon. The stir-fried lettuce was so tender and had a natural flavor you wouldn't find in a big city. It was cleaner than restaurants and reasonably priced. The service was excellent.
