On my recent trip to Luoyang Longmen, I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Luoyang Longmen. It's conveniently located right next to the Luoyang Longmen High-Speed Railway Station, just a 5-minute walk away. Luoyang was quite hot these past few days, but thankfully, the hotel provided immediate comfort upon entering. The facilities were excellent, and the service was very good. Upon entering my room, I found a spacious bed. From the window, I could see the high-speed rail station. I initially thought it might be noisy, but to my pleasant surprise, it was completely quiet, allowing me to sleep very well. The bed was also very comfortable.

We booked this hotel for 2 nights because it is new and next to the Luoshenfu performance next door. Excellent hotel. So beautiful and spacious rooms with separate bathroom and toilet. Way beyond our expectations. Nice bath tub, shower room, projector TV, coffee machine with complimentary cookies and fruits and complimentary drinks in mini-bar. Robot delivering bottled water when requested. Absolutely love the hotel and wish we stayed longer. We will book this hotel again if we visit Luoyang.
Chinese Restaurant had tremendous value. Delicious 9 course dinner including steam fish and lobster, taste really good. We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant on both nights. The first night we were thoroughly impressed with the private dining room with ensuite toilet.
Breakfast with good international selection of Chinese and Western options.
Definitely the best hotel of our 2 weeks stay in China. Now we have a great impression of Luoyang because of the hotel.
Only feedback is that it will be good if the toilet and bathroom lights can be separate so that at night when sleeping, guests can just switch on the toilet light and leave the rest of the room dark. Current dim light switch leaves bathroom still quite bright and glaring when sleeping. Other than this minor point, this hotel really wonderful and definitely a great hotel to stay in Luoyang!

We chose the Holiday Inn Express by Kaiyuan in Luoyang for our family trip during the summer holidays. This particular branch in Luoyang is generally superior to the one in Luanchuan, and the service was fantastic.
The hotel's location is excellent. It's not far from the Longmen Grottoes and Luoyang Museum, and Yingtian Gate is also within a reasonable distance. Parking is a major convenience here, with two underground levels, which is far better than hotels in Luoyang's old town. My tip for visitors to Luoyang is to park your car here and then rely on taxis for sightseeing and dining; it's incredibly convenient.
Upon check-in, we received complimentary souvenirs and fruit, which was a very thoughtful gesture. We also got a room upgrade.
Breakfast is served until 10 AM and offers a great variety. A lovely touch was the complimentary old-fashioned popsicles available for guests to take from the lobby entrance on the first floor, perfect for cooling down in the summer heat.
Our room was very clean. We also noticed quite a few international guests staying at the hotel. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

The hotel boasts a fantastic setting, perched on a mountain with panoramic views of Luoyang city. The rooms are generously sized, and the balconies are particularly spacious. The hotel grounds are expansive and beautifully landscaped. However, the interior amenities felt a bit unpolished, especially the smart toilet, whose quality and cleanliness were quite worrisome. After each flush, it would emit a strange, continuous noise for several minutes.
The hotel breakfast was of good quality and served semi-buffet style. Yet, the offerings were quite repetitive; after staying for two nights, we found choices limited on the second morning. The breakfast cold dishes, in particular, were visually appealing but lacked flavor.
On a positive note, the customized barbecue dinner is highly recommended. It was delicious, and the chef clearly put a lot of care into its preparation.

Me and my friend loved this hotel! Not only was it walking distance to the Luoyang Longmen Station, but the hotel was very clean and modern as well. The staff were also very nice and helpful and I definitely think I will be staying at this hotel again if I ever made another visit to Luoyang. The only minor thing that we felt could be improved on is to have more than one USB outlet in the room, as only having one does limit charging options for rooms with more than one person. Overall a very satisfying experience!

The most impressive thing is the big umbrella on the roof, and the various decorations are very unique. The toothbrush is not disposable, but a Sanxiao toothbrush sold in the supermarket. The toothpaste is from Heimei. Although it is also in a small bottle, it is much larger than the ones in ordinary hotels. It is no problem to brush five or six times. The shower is also very easy to use, and the hot water comes out quickly and the water volume is large. The front desk service is also very good. When I left, I was given a Luoyang specialty snack, which is very thoughtful. The hotel also has a station delivery service, which sent us directly to the high-speed rail station when we left. The service is very thoughtful! The only regret is that although the TV is very large, you need to recharge VIP to watch movies, and you can't cast the screen. I don't know if this business can improve in the future. I personally think that there won't be many people who recharge, so it's better to let customers cast their own screens to increase customer favorability.

This was the third hotel I stayed at during my trip to Henan. Overall, when comparing service across various industries in Henan's tourism sector, hotels consistently left the best impression, and this one was no exception.
Everyone I encountered, from management to staff, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. And I must say, the front desk ladies I met at hotels in Henan were all quite attractive – it genuinely brightened my day! I couldn't help but wonder how the management consistently managed to recruit such appealing staff for the front desk. It even made me ponder if perhaps Henan's economy and per capita income are still relatively low, as, apart from tourist attractions, prices were genuinely quite affordable.
The hotel offers convenient parking, is a peaceful oasis amidst a bustling area, and provides easy access for getting around. Highly recommended.

A luxurious experience that blends the past and the present, a perfect journey that makes you feel at home!
I especially want to give a thumbs up to the ultimate service of Miss Kagla at the front desk! From the first second I stepped into the hotel, her signature warm smile made people feel like spring breeze. When checking in, she not only accurately captured our needs of ”wanting to deeply experience Luoyang culture”, but also took the initiative to upgrade the room facing the lake view and handed over a handwritten recommendation list - from ”the route to visit the Longmen Grottoes to avoid the crowds at 8 o'clock in the morning” to ”the map of beef soup restaurants that only locals know”, every suggestion accurately hit our points of interest. It truly interprets the Marriott spirit of ”customer first”.

The room was very clean, and the staff were all incredibly warm and friendly. They were proactive in helping us with parking arrangements, and the location is also very convenient. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich and varied, and the children absolutely loved it! We were extremely satisfied – it was definitely a highlight of our trip to Luoyang. The laundry facilities were also excellent.

This is one of the most satisfying hotels I've stayed in recently. In recent years, I've noticed a decline in the overall standards of major hotel chains, even 5-star and 5-diamond properties. The quality of rooms, from bedding and linens to the overall scent, seems to be deteriorating. For example, mid-month, I stayed at the Marriott on Nanjing Road in Shanghai, and the linens were already a dull grayish-white. Then I visited the Ritz-Carlton Tianjin, a hotel with a century of architectural heritage, but a strong smell of wool carpet permeated everywhere, from the lobby to the rooms! I even wondered if it was a pet-friendly hotel, thinking it was the smell of cats and dogs. But I digress. However, this hotel's aesthetic is simple yet grand. The rooms are fully equipped and don't feel dated. The lighting control panel offers various options, and the linens and bedding are pristine white, feeling silky and very comfortable. I particularly appreciated the pillows: one goose down and one memory foam, and their height was just perfect for me, as I'm not accustomed to sleeping on overly soft duck down pillows. The room had a fresh and dry ambiance, perhaps due to Luoyang's inland location in the heart of the Central Plains. I especially liked the wall panels; I even took pictures to save as inspiration for my own home renovation. I've attached a few casual photos for reference. Overall, the value for money here is outstanding!

1102800****The hotel is located in the Longmen Grottoes Pedestrian Street, with an antique style and quiet in the bustling city. From the moment I arrived at the entrance of the pedestrian street, the hotel brought me one surprise after another. The front desk guy Xiao He personally came to the entrance to pick me up, helped me carry my luggage, entered the pedestrian street, and constantly introduced me to the style of the ancient city. When I came to the hotel front desk, the second surprise came. The beautiful front desk manager prepared freshly squeezed juice for me to cool down, and also thoughtfully prepared a welcome package, various snacks and yogurt. This feeling of being at home is really beyond words. After checking in, the front desk guy Xiao He personally sent me into the room. The air conditioner had been turned on, and there were a lot of fruit snacks. He also prepared a careful afternoon tea, and I felt ”spoiled” to the sky. It can be said that in terms of feeding, it was controlled to death. The room feels clean and tidy, everything is so perfect, and the hotel's garden landscape is even more unique and warm, with gurgling water and fish playing. It is really a perfect resort hotel! Grateful for this encounter, grateful for a fate, I hope you will do better and better, a hotel run with heart, as a guest, what can I say, I can only stay, stay, stay 😄😄 From only staying for one night, I was forced to stay for three nights in a row 😂😂😂 Crazy praise👍👍👍👍

Lljy_023Overall, I was generally satisfied with my two-night stay. The pickup service I booked was a pleasant surprise; the car was quite luxurious, which was a definite plus. The complimentary minibar (first round, as stated in the booking) was a nice touch, and it was replenished the next day, which was unexpected and appreciated. The front desk staff were very welcoming and even upgraded my room after I mentioned I'm a light sleeper and concerned about noise.
However, there was a minor hiccup during check-in that caused some dissatisfaction. I arrived at 11 AM and was told my room would be ready after a 40-minute clean. But when I returned after lunch, past 1 PM, it still wasn't ready. I ended up waiting another 20 minutes before checking in. I'm not sure if my room was overlooked or if there was a communication issue with housekeeping.
Additionally, there were some minor cleanliness issues: the electric kettle had stains on the outside, and there were also stains on the carpet. I hope management can pay more attention to these details.
Finally, the mattress was quite firm, especially for us who are used to softer beds. Both my daughter and I woke up feeling stiff and sore the next day. She even strongly insisted on moving hotels, but we decided it was too much hassle, so we just made do for our second night.

MM230481****First of all, the Magnolia Hotel is clean and simple, and the location is very good. Overall it is good. The problem of picking the fault is that the service should be strengthened, the check-out should be extended, the room card cannot be used, and the door opened by the aunt in the corridor should be opened. The front desk lady should set up a sales bonus mechanism. When I heard the consultation phone, I asked if there was lunch and dinner. The front desk said no. I asked about the meeting on the phone. The front desk said that we have a meeting room. I don't know if you are enough. The other party said to ask again. I think this is at least 8 people, it is a big order. Group. Keep it for it, try to meet the reasonable requirements of others, this wave of people will not come. Even if you don't have lunch and dinner, you can hire people. Fee . Come to your own home to guests, people pay for you to cook. In the evening, the live broadcast said that the hotel is also rolled, or use the advantages of your hotel, talk about sales strategies, and personnel training. But the hotel itself is cheap and cost-effective.

GGuest UserDespite my younger brother's strong recommendation, I usually lean towards Huazhu Group hotels (I've been a loyal customer since Hanting, then Ji, Orange, and Crystal Orange first opened). Every guest has different expectations, and no hotel can cater to all. This was my first time staying at Atour, and while it certainly has its pros and cons (which many others have already pointed out), I'd like to share my personal experience.
1. Upon check-in, four of us were checking in, but only two welcome drinks were offered, which was a bit disappointing.
2. Being used to Ji and Orange hotels, I habitually asked if breakfast was complimentary. The answer was no; it was over 300 RMB for four people daily, discounted to a little over 200 RMB. As we were staying for three days, tended to wake up late, and ate lightly, we decided against it. The staff member processing our request gave us a rather disdainful look (though I might be overthinking it). In fairness, we didn't even partake in the complimentary evening porridge, so we're not ones to take something just because it's free. (chuckle)
3. I actually came with the intention of experiencing the hotel's bedding and perhaps buying some pillows to take home, but the soundproofing was so poor that I didn't get a single good night's sleep.
4. We woke up late and bought mung bean porridge and fried dough sticks from outside. With no small dining table available, we had to eat on the bed, which was quite uncomfortable.
5. The hotel didn't inform us about any of its amenities or services. For instance, they had a chain coffee brand available, yet we spent a considerable amount of time searching for one outside. We also had no idea about the fruit-infused tea that was tucked away behind the lobby.
6. The TV and movie features were quite substandard. While I could overlook the fact that international access didn't work, even casting from domestic phones was impossible.
7. Water stains on the bathroom vanity couldn't be wiped away with the hotel towels; we had to resort to using tissue paper. The sink itself could also use an upgrade or replacement.

KKumuyouyoufengchunriThere is a free parking lot at the entrance of the hotel, and you will enter the hotel directly after you park the car. The front desk service is very good and very warm and thoughtful. If there is a need, the response will be solved immediately. The room is clean, spacious and bright, and comfortable, and the environment is very good and warm. It is also equipped with disposable alcohol wipes and disposable toilet pads, which is quite safe. Overall, I am very satisfied.

Now when I go out to travel, I like to stay at Home Inn. The room is big, well decorated and convenient to live in.
Good service, good environment, comfortable bed, very close to the high-speed rail station and subway station.

AAnonymous UserEnvironment: Before our trip to Luoyang, I spent a good while comparing hotels on various platforms and eventually came across Meihou. Initially, I figured a national chain hotel wouldn't disappoint. However, I did have a slight concern that, being newly opened this year, it might have a 'new hotel' smell. To my pleasant surprise, throughout our four-day stay, we didn't notice anything of the sort. The front desk staff were also incredibly thoughtful; one kind lady even offered to arrange an air purifier for our room. And whenever we needed anything during our stay, the staff were quick to have a robot deliver it. The room decor was also quite pleasing and felt very cozy. I noticed the wallpaper cleverly incorporated elements of Luoyang culture, featuring peony flowers. There was even a cute little Tang Sancai-style horse in the room – I almost wanted to take it home, haha! The lobby was very stylishly decorated. What really impressed us were the large refrigerators stocked with complimentary drinks, snacks, and fruits – quite a draw! My child was so taken with it that they kept asking if we could stay here again next time. The room was also spotlessly clean and thoughtfully equipped with alcohol disinfectant wipes. What's more, it's one of the few hotels I've stayed in that provides individual sachets of laundry detergent in the room – a feature I absolutely loved!
Facilities: The room boasted full smart home automation – just by saying 'Xiaodu Xiaodu,' we could control everything. This was incredibly convenient, especially for older guests. The housekeeping staff were very meticulous with their cleaning, and the breakfast spread offered a good variety of options. The *Hú Lā Tāng* (spicy and sour soup) seemed to have been slightly adapted; it was less spicy than what you typically find outside, which made it much more enjoyable for my palate. All in all, it was a very positive experience. The locals in Luoyang were incredibly hospitable too. We'll definitely be back!
