Staying at the Luoyang Marriott for my trip to Luoyang was a really good experience overall. The hotel's location is excellent, situated in the Luolong New District, not far from the subway station, and right next to Quanshun Shopping Mall, which is super convenient for dining and shopping. Taking a taxi to the Longmen Grottoes and Longmen High-Speed Railway Station isn't far either, making getting around very hassle-free. The front desk staff were very friendly and checked me in quickly. They were patient in answering my questions about local attractions and were happy to help with any small requests. The concierge team was also very reliable, proactive in helping with luggage, and even shared some great local tips for exploring, which was really helpful. I didn't use the hotel breakfast this time, but I did try the Chinese restaurant in the evening. The food quality was excellent; both the Henan cuisine and Luoyang Water Feast were very authentic. The private dining rooms were quiet and elegant, perfect for a small gathering with friends. My room was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a restful night's sleep without disturbances. The hotel's facilities are well-maintained, and the service was impeccable. While the price is a bit on the higher side, it's definitely worth it for the quality. I had a very pleasant stay, and I'll definitely consider this hotel first when I visit Luoyang again. Highly recommended for anyone traveling to the area.

I booked this hotel because I had an exam in Yibin District and it's quite close to the subway station, about a 1km walk. The hotel was very clean, and when I mentioned I needed a quiet room for my exam, they accommodated me, which was great. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends visiting Luoyang in the future. The breakfast was also decent. The biggest impression from this stay was how comfortable and convenient it was. The room was very clean, the bed was quite comfortable, and there was hardly any noise at night. The hotel's location is also convenient, with many dining options nearby, making it easy to get around for errands. The front desk staff were very friendly. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely stay here.

They offer a pick-up service from Longmen Station with a Lantu business car. The driver pre-arranged everything, but I proactively made a reservation, mainly for the pick-up. I thought it was pretty good. I booked it for around 300 RMB, and the twin dates package was quite a good deal. It had everything we needed. Location-wise, it's close to Longmen Grottoes, but a bit further from other places. However, if you take a taxi, Luoyang isn't that big, and a few dozen yuan will get you anywhere, so it's acceptable. We didn't explore the surrounding area much; we mostly just went to tourist spots. The service was very good. The cleaning staff were friendly and greeted us warmly. There were also plenty of bottled water bottles placed in the stairwells for guests to take as needed, which was a nice touch. There was also bottled water in the room, which was fine. They didn't charge a deposit for check-in. I considered upgrading to a kids' room, but the upgrade fee was too high. The price including breakfast was still good for kids. Even though the little ones didn't eat much at breakfast, they weren't charged. Their beef noodle soup, however, I absolutely have to recommend! It's in the noodle section and is very distinctive. We were on a tight schedule and didn't get to try many local delicacies, but their beef noodle soup made all of us eat at least three bowls. Even the kids who don't usually like it drank a lot. We all agreed it was incredibly authentic. The only minor drawback is that if they're going to offer afternoon tea, they should do it properly – make it a bit more refined and presentable. Otherwise, it's better not to offer it at all. The mini-bar also had some complimentary small drinks. Overall, the service was really good and suitable for families. There's a new business district nearby with an unfinished building, and across the street, there seems to be a shopping mall, so it's convenient for shopping. However, we usually left early and returned late, so we didn't do anything else besides dealing with taxi issues.

I was torn between the Marriott and Courtyard, figuring I'd be out sightseeing most of the time. I ended up choosing the Courtyard and booked an executive room. The room was great, and the service was exceptional. The executive lounge service was also excellent. Taxis to all the attractions were under 20 RMB, and it wasn't as noisy as staying right in the ancient city. When I checked in, I added Yuki from the front desk on WeChat, and she was always there to help with any questions I had, just a message away. She even helped us plan our breakfast to save time and money, which led us to extend our stay for another day. Yuki also arranged for us to stay in the same room for the extension, which saved us a lot of hassle. All in all, this trip was fantastic.

This hotel is located inside the scenic area's pedestrian street. It's about an 8-10 minute walk from where you get off the car. The room was quiet, with high-quality amenities. Breakfast was clean and fresh (starts at 7 AM, but people were already eating at 6:45 AM). The mattress was comfortable, and the air conditioning was powerful. The staff spoke softly and politely. I didn't get a chance to enjoy the inner courtyard because there were a lot of aggressive mosquitoes there around 7 PM. What was really disappointing was the restaurants within the scenic area. We went to the largest one, Longmen Food Stall, and everything was leftovers. The potstickers were reheated in the microwave, and the carp was refried. I advise everyone to avoid eating there. It would be a huge bonus if the hotel offered its own dining options or could recommend reliable, fresh restaurants to guests. Thank you!

An absolutely fantastic hotel! It's super clean, the environment is wonderful, the location is excellent, and the service is attentive. The breakfast spread was plentiful. A special thanks to the front desk for giving us a free room upgrade and even reimbursing our taxi fare. Next time I'm in Luoyang, I'll definitely choose this place again. Highly trustworthy and recommended!

This time I came to Luoyang for a long time and finally decided on this Huaxi Longmen Manor B&B. First of all, we must praise the service attitude. The boss and staff are very enthusiastic. Knowing that we are going to nearby attractions, we can take the initiative to pick us up and drop us off. It really saves a lot of trouble. It is so intimate! Besides the environment, this homestay is very new, the decoration style makes people feel very comfortable, the overall hygiene is also cleaned, and the living is very safe. The yard and surrounding environment are also OK, and it is very pleasant to stay. In short, the experience of staying this time is very good, very recommended!

Staying at this hotel felt a bit like stepping back in time. As a family of four, we opted for an executive room for convenience. Check-in was on the 21st floor, and a lovely young lady assisted us. While the experience wasn't entirely perfect – for example, it would have been nicer not to just stand there waiting during check-in, perhaps being offered tea and snacks – overall, the hotel facilities, staff attire, and food were satisfactory. This was my first time staying at a hotel that included dinner. Although breakfast wasn't as elaborate, it had its unique touches, and both the variety and service were quite good!

The facilities are well-maintained, the bedding is soft and cozy, and overall, it offers great value for money. The butler service was excellent. Highly recommended!
