Hotels in Old Town Center, Luoyang

Prior to our stay at the hotel they were easy to communicate with about arranging for us to be picked up from the airport and when we arrived lovely Wang Jie was waiting for us and took us to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel the reception desk people were friendly and helpful though had no English. In the end we borrowed a Chinese-Australia powerpoint adaptor from other guests as the hotel didn't have any to lend. During our time in Luoyang we stayed at the hotel twice (we travelled to Songshan in between) and so we saw two of the hotel's rooms. Both were large, clean and comfortable. The first had a big window over looking the canal. The second had a smalled window but compensated with a bathtub. Each evening the concierge would ask us what was wanted from the breakfast menu and, between 7am and 9am, what time did we want it brought to our room. There is a washing machine available for use, free of charge, as well as laundry liquid. It didn't clean our clothes super well but did a good enough job. Guest clothes can then be hung on the balcony of the third floor to dry. The icing on top of our lovely stay at the hotel was the driver Shmile who drove us to Songshan (for 200RMB - so more expensive than a Didi there) and around Luoyang. What made her so great was her conversational English skills and her happiness to tell us about life in Luoyang and give us insights that we couldn't get from museums and plaques. Overall a great hotel that is close to Luoyi Ancient city and that is foreigner friendly.

A very nice and comfortable hotel in an unbeatable location, and has a beautiful rooftop terrace. Located on the main axis of the Ancient City, but off on a quieter part so the city will not disturb your rest and relaxation. Also 5 minutes away walk from the subway and busses to the Luoyang Grottoes, White Horse Temple, and the Luoyang Museum, but the real treat is to be able to walk through the old city at night, right at your doorstep. The room was big, comfortable, had lots of electrical outlets and a nice shower. Staff was open and friendly. There are lockers at the front desk for safe storage.

The service was excellent, and the room was exceptionally spacious and very modern, featuring voice-activated lights, automatic curtains, and a smart toilet. I was thoroughly impressed. The location is fantastic for sightseeing. Both the Tianzi Jialiu Museum and the Tiantang & Mingtang historic site, along with Yingtian Gate, are within easy walking distance. There's a subway station just a two-minute walk away, and plenty of delicious local eateries nearby. I'll definitely book this hotel again on my next trip to Luoyang. The housekeeping staff were also very kind; the handwritten note they left was a lovely, thoughtful touch.

As a frequent business traveler who stays in many hotels, this was my first visit here, and it's by far the most satisfying experience I've had. The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly opposite a popular 'internet-famous' snack street, featuring renowned eateries like Xiaojie Guotie and Xiaojie Tianfu. It's also incredibly convenient, just about a 3-minute walk from the subway station. The Tianzi Jialiu Museum is just diagonally opposite, and for those looking to explore, the 'internet-famous' Yingtianmen scenic area is a mere 15-minute walk to the right from the hotel entrance, very close to Tiantang Mingtang. The hotel's unique decor, with its charming retro style, is matched by its incredibly enthusiastic service. The security guard at the entrance was exceptionally helpful, assisting with parking guidance and luggage. The front desk staff were efficient during check-in and patiently explained the local area, offering invaluable tips on navigating nearby tourist attractions and avoiding common tourist traps. Our room was spacious and bright, featuring incredibly comfortable bedding and convenient smart room amenities. The housekeeping staff were also proactively helpful with cleaning. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety, including a delicious local specialty beef soup that was incredibly flavorful. The restaurant staff and chefs were equally enthusiastic and friendly. The afternoon tea was also impressive, with freshly ground coffee, a selection of Haibi (a local Luoyang drink available in many flavors), and delightful small snacks and exquisite mini cakes – all fantastic. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone I know.

The place is A MUST for ppl who love to wear hanfu chinese dress, because it’s nearby Yingtianmen and Liningmen less than 1 km by walk and full of hanfu dressing shop. The room is quite big and the environment around hotel is so good! There ‘s also teashop close to the hotel!

Facilities: Very clean and new. Hygiene: There were some minor issues. The basic standard of thorough cleaning and replacing items for each new guest wasn't met. We checked in a bit early, and our room wasn't ready. We went for lunch, and upon returning, wanting a drink, we found that one of our two rooms smelled of smoke, and in the other, the cups were visibly dirty with dust, black spots, and marks on the rim, likely left uncleaned because the staff assumed the previous guest hadn't used them. Ambiance: The environment is excellent. The entire hotel feels very comfortable, with a pleasant aroma and a clean, inviting atmosphere. Service: My dedicated concierge was incredibly reliable. Any issues I brought to her attention received immediate feedback. This is truly important; when guests encounter problems, immediate feedback and a proposed solution are always far superior to stubborn denial. One of the reasons we enjoyed our trip to Luoyang so much was the peace of mind and lack of hassle provided by the hotel.

Loved the way the room was set up — a charming little space with a tatami mat perfect for enjoying tea. The ambience of the room is classy and inviting. The room attendants were also very helpful and polite, making our stay even more pleasant. The breakfast offered a wide variety of healthy and delicious options, which we thoroughly enjoyed each morning. The location is excellent, just a few steps from Lijingmen station, and very central to many attractions and points of interest. Overall, we had a wonderful 4-night stay and would gladly choose this hotel again on our next visit. Highly recommended!

It was my first time staying at Orange Hotel, and the experience was beyond my expectations. Both the lobby and the room are bright orange, giving people a warm and comfortable feeling. The room has everything you need, including a large-screen TV, automatic curtains, a dry and wet separated toilet and bathroom, and a large table for eating, which is much better than many hotels that only have a small round table. You can order your favorite takeout, and the cute delivery robot will deliver it to your door and playfully ask you for a good review. The hotel service is excellent, the service staff are very friendly and kind, and they gave us a small gift when we checked in. The hotel has a gym and a self-service laundry room. Luggage that needs to be stored can also be placed in the luggage lockers. You can store and access luggage by swiping your ID card, which is very convenient. The breakfast is also good. Although it is not particularly rich, it has all the necessary categories, and different dishes are updated every day. Because it is an orange-themed hotel, many things are inseparable from oranges. There are free oranges and orange juice for guests to try in the lobby. The shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and even the toothpaste in the room are all orange-flavored. If you don't like orange flavor, you'll need to prepare these things yourself. The location of this hotel is also very good, not far from Luoyi Ancient City and Lijing Gate. It is a hotel with good value for money and I recommend everyone to stay.

The hotel has a peacock cage. I happened to see a peacock laying eggs, so I went home to hatch the little peacocks... The B&B is beautiful, and the photos taken inside are very good. You need to swipe your card to enter, and it is very private! You can see the activities of Luoyi Ancient City from the balcony at night, which is very convenient. After 11 o'clock, the ancient city is very quiet, and I have a good rest! I will stay here next time I come to Luoyang

The hotel deserves a total of 5 points for its positioning. First of all, the location is good. It is close to the railway station and the bus station. It is only about 20 minutes' drive from the airport. It is very convenient to travel. Secondly, there are many restaurants and convenience stores around, which are convenient for dining. In addition, it is within a controllable range to tourist attractions. The room facilities are relatively complete, clean and hygienic. The layout is elegant, warm and intelligent. The breakfast dishes are rich. The service awareness of the service staff is also quite strong, reflecting a strong professionalism. For example, Ms. Qianqian, the staff at the front desk, is particularly enthusiastic. She actively provides tourist information and gives guests small gifts before checking out, etc. A series of actions are very heartwarming. I will stay there when I go to Luoyang in the future
