I absolutely cannot tell you how much I loved this hotel. If you can believe it I think it might have been the highlight of our trip so far. We were picked up at the station by a car, and taken to the hotel. On arrival Feng Yi, the bellboy provided us with warm towels and tea whilst we checked in. We were on the 17th floor, facing the peony plaza. The room was spacious, and with water, tea, fruit and even bags of candies, as a personalised note welcoming us. Then as if it could get any more lovely at night we were provided with yogurt and Li tang before bed. The breakfast was wonderful and diverse. My only point to note, and this is really something we have noticed on this trip to China, is that very few staff, including the desk staff speak English. Luckily, I was able to communicate through wechat and voice translator. That said, I speak some Mandarin so that also helped. But the staff we attentive, kind, welcoming, warm and it was thanks to them that we had such a wonderful time in Luoyang.

The floor I stayed in should be newly renovated, which was quite good. The transportation was convenient, with a bus stop and subway station downstairs, so it was convenient to go anywhere. The bad part was that the door was not soundproof, and I could hear people talking and closing doors outside clearly, which affected my sleep. There was no place to put clothes in the bathroom, and I had to get out of the bathroom to put on clothes after taking a shower, and there was no shelter, which was very inconvenient.

Luoyang is a very beautiful city. I went to Luoyang with my classmates. The attractions are relatively scattered, so I chose the Magpie Hotel, which is located in the middle of the attractions. The overall stay experience was very satisfactory. The hotel has a free parking lot, so you don’t have to worry about parking. The hotel lobby is very beautiful There are also free snacks and free tea. The hotel is also very clean, and the room facilities and toiletries are complete. I am very satisfied with my stay and have a very happy trip to Luoyang! Luoyang is a city that I will visit again!

It was a rainy day when I came to Luoyang for the first time. I asked the front desk if there was a dry cleaner nearby. The room was provided with fruits, snacks and peony tea, and was equipped with a high-end tea table and tea sets. It felt great to make a pot of tea by the window and look at the scenery in the distance. The Chinese and Western buffet breakfast is also delicious, with local beef soup and rice noodles. It is convenient to go to various scenic spots. The room is relatively large. The hotel service staff is enthusiastic and responsive to all requests. Drinking water is provided in a timely manner. The breakfast is quite satisfactory. The hotel It is located next to an elevated road, so it is not noisy when sleeping at night. The disadvantages are that there is a peculiar smell in the hotel corridor. There were some problems with the air conditioning and windows in the room on the first day of check-in. The hotel also sent maintenance personnel in time to take care of the maintenance.

The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and provide attentive and meticulous service. They even went downstairs to show us the parking spaces, made tea for us and gave us snacks.
