Hotels in Peony Square/Wanda Plaza Area, Luoyang

This is a challenging hotel to review, so I'll just provide an objective description of its pros and cons, and you can make your own decision. I've visited Luoyang many times, and on this trip, I finally managed to book tickets for the Luoyang Museum, bringing my kids along for a few days. Big data truly delivered – right after I secured the museum tickets, Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book) aggressively recommended this hotel. Frankly, most of what was shown on Xiaohongshu was accurate. The welcome staff were warm and attentive, room service was incredibly prompt, and complimentary snacks were readily available (including free beer, instant noodles, and ham sausages). But beyond that? The rooms were quite small, lacking a separate shower. The showerhead was fixed directly above the bathtub, only adjustable by angle, not position. I considered a bath, but finding a non-slip mat already in the tub, I ultimately abandoned the idea. The air conditioning was old and noisy at night. The mattress offered poor support, so those who prioritize sleep quality should be cautious. The toilet seat and lid lacked a soft-close mechanism, so you had to lower them gently to avoid a jarring noise. And the water stains on the showerhead and faucet weren't due to poor cleaning, but rather the indelible marks of time. In conclusion, this is a hotel of stark contrasts. While it provided excellent value for money with its room service for around 600 RMB a night, the limitations of its physical facilities and hardware ultimately set a ceiling on the overall experience.

Excellent hotel and service. Han Pei Pei was very helpful in arranging private car transportation to the high speed rail and telling us how to get to the National Peony Garden. The hotel breakfast is an extensive buffet in with 6 differ not kinds of Tea. For fruit they have Dragon fruit, strawberries, Rock Melon among many others.

Choosing this hotel for this trip was a real surprise! The room had floor heating! It was a pleasant surprise. The room also had two oversized sinks, complete with Baishuishan mineral water. All beverages were complimentary. Upon entering the room, it was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was comfortable, completely relieving any travel fatigue. The amenities were comprehensive and easy to use, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back.

The room is clean and tidy, with fresh fruit and yogurt every day. The waiter at 0782 is very warm and thoughtful. The transportation here is very convenient. There is also a snack street next to it at night, which is very lively.

Booked 2 rooms, requested for same floor was given. One of the rooms we had have a very bad foul drainage smell, as the rooms were all carpeted the room was extremely dusty. If you are sensitive to dust, would suggest you to book somewhere else. Space wise is good as its spacious enough for our 2 big luggage and to accommodate our family when they came over. Housekeeping on L13 was courteous and helpful, not a single request was too much for her. I think the last few days of our trip the housekeeper had changed and did not clean as per our preference. But its okay. Breakfast: simple, just eat out or do delivery

This hotel room is a very spacious studio flat, 60 square meters . I am so pleased that it comes with a kitchen, cooker , washing machine and fridge & freezer! Overall it is spotless cleaned . Stylish deco, comfortable bed . I am so glad with the stay . So came back again and again for many times . That staff is very friendly and welcoming. I really like this hotel !

Downstairs of the hotel is a food street and a large shopping supermarket. There is also a wetland park nearby, which is only a 5-minute walk away. There is also fitness equipment in the park, and the air is fresh, perfect for walking. In addition, it is very close to Wangfujing, Wanda Shopping Mall, etc. There are also the best shopping supermarkets in Luoyang nearby, making eating and shopping very convenient. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and provide attentive and meticulous service. They even went downstairs to show us the parking spaces, made tea for us and gave us snacks. Thumbs up👍🏻The hotel is clean and tidy, with complete supporting facilities. What's even more surprising is that there are disinfectant wipes. Towels, toilet mats, nail files, laundry detergent, etc. In short, this is a very recommended hotel. The room price is cheap and the price-performance ratio is very high. The experience is perfect.
