It says luxury hotel on their Tripadvisor introduction. It’s not. This could be such a nice hotel but the whole house needs a good refurbishing and facelift. The hotel rooms are very outdated and worn down. Bathrooms fairly clean but also very 80’s decor. 90 percent of the electricity outlets in our room did not work. So, waking up to nothing charged for the day. Floors are quirking hence waking up your partner every time you get out of bed. French balcony facing a backyard with huge machinery systems for the hotel making noise all the time. Which meant no possibility to have the door open during night. With no air conditioning in the room. During the summer this must be terrible. Breakfast was really good though. Why I can put 3 stars as a grade. Friendly staff. Close to the railway station and good location in the very centre of Lund. But would not book again.

Beautiful historic hotel near the train station and close to the centre of beautiful Lund. A beautiful hotel with a superb large bedroom, beautifully decorated. Staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Lovely continental breakfast, with cold and hot plates. Very plentiful. My only gripe was that our room which faced a small fountain and park was not air conditioned and the windows didn't open, otherwise a super stay.

Went to grand hotel after being recommended their expresso martini . So we thought we go their and have a dessert as well that . Once upon arrival the lady lady said we could sit anywhere , but when we chose a table by the window we aren’t allowed sit there but have to sit in the back of the corner ???? Really poor costumers service !!! The place were not even full and by sitting by the window makes it look busy to accuracy other guest ( business tip for you ) so we left . I wound not recommend this place on how they treat their costumers absolutey appealing . Will not recommend this at at all if you are a tourist in this town though they treat you really bad

Grand Hotel has clearly seen better day - or at leat I assume. It is a classic example of restarant which has a very high opinion of themselves with nothing to back it up. The service from our waiter, a young woman, was excellent but she was the only one who showed up to work that day. The wine was fine but the food - not so much. I was extremely disapointed, the quality was no where near what it should be at those prices, it resembled a below-par British pub meal. With the compitition from much, much better places in Lund, they have to do something drastic to attract any new guests.

We hebben in het bistro geluncht. Wat een lekker stuk vlees. In België kan je dat alleen maar in super gelegenheden krijgen. Ook mosselen waren piekfijn en dat allemaal voor een bijzonder redelijke prijs. Voor dat geld eet je thuis in een zeer middelmatig eethuis.
